My brother (new grower) on Hawaii is struggling with his grow.
any advice I can give him?

Auto Watermelon OG
A lot of sun...outside grow.
Water every day.
A basic fertilizer...not sure what.

First pic is after 1 month...second pic after 2 monthes.
I'll try to get more info.

Cute ladies my friend.
If they are in soil you need to let it dry before watering again.
Feed let dry give water let dry feed, dry, water, dry repeat.

Soil looks like it could use better drainage. Need to add some lava rock or perlite to the mix. Autos should have been in bigger pots before 30 days. That's all I can say without more info.

Looks like they started off good and then something started to slow down their growth.

First thing I noticed is that the 2nd photo shows plants look like close to the same height but started to send some new growth out at the nodes. And it looks like there are wind-burn or light burn marks on the leaves. I get the idea that there are no artificial lights being used, just sunlight coming through the windows.

Find out if your brother is using any kind or proper grow light and the details on his fertilizing and watering schedule.

By the way there are several members of the group who are active growers in Hawaii. Some of them have threads on their current or past grows.

Oh my, I want that blue pot! Haha, that cage looks interesting, I surprisingly never saw something like that around

Girls were getting rained on at times, which might have caused leaf burn.
Bro is going to repot and trim a bit.
And might adjust nutrients.
Thanks again for all the help...
