Morning smeegs! I hold service members in high regard cause lord knows I suck at taking orders.... it's my way or my way. Or as I tell my daughter it's a democracy.... you can choose the easy way or the hard way....

I'll be continuing my shenanigans over in the other journal you posted in, as I'm not really growing much for buds this round mainly seeds.

And your secret is safe with me. And unexpected journey is always a good one

Hey @Derbybud just wanted to mention that you do great with your patented training pots. Like did people not see the colas on that last round lol? Sure you could go to a bigger size but you would need to Veg longer and then put them outside cause they'd outgrow your space like a rider..... your plants wanted for nothing and you did it all just right. Suntana and B-farmer always told me that coco is supposed to use a smaller pot. And you want the roots to fill up. That sounds like how you do it and how I do it, and the results speak for themselves. I think I could have done better if I had my lights lower, so I'll try that too. I want those donkey colas, and if anyone says that you aren't growing them is.... WRONG.

I'm glad we have each others support just remember that's all we need. Who cares what random people think. I do care what my friends think... and I'm pretty sure you guys made the mistake of letting me into the friend zone :rofl:

No. I almost feel guilty whenever I win stuff.... so I try to pay it forward when and if I can. I have a feeling there will be LOTS of love spread in 3 and a half to 4 months after my next harvest.
 
Don't even ask how I got into the friend zone. Not sure I am yet. Lol
But what we do in our gardens is sometimes what we have to do. I'm all for wanting suggestions but man to come in and saying I'm doing it wrong because so&so can grow trees in 100 gal pots. That's not what I want. I'm just trying to grow different stains that my daughter asked me to grow for her because she thinks it might help her. If i come across the holy grail strain for her then i might think about growing trees.

well if I had acres of land and could grow outdoors legally I'd grow trees lol.... but like you said that's not the goal. Your doing what works for you man. And I dont have the time for a 5 month veg, or the space for a 100 gallon pot. Maybe one day I'll have an indoor pool filled with smaller kiddie pools like subcool... but what good does growing a tree I cant contain in my space do? None. It will cause me a huge headache and to no longer enjoy this hobby.... people are funny, trees are for outside and plants are for in. I had to explain that to someone last grow... why dont tou let the scrog fill then flip. Well first that's not scrogging, second I want more dank buds not more lard, and third my scrog isnt as big as the picture your showing because that scrog is 2x the size of my tub??? Lmfao! Yeah no need to worry derb. You're doing it the way you want and what works for you, but mainly the buds are fire, so the haters can check themselves before they wreck themselves lol

Totally agree buddy. But sometimes those people pop into your journal and you just have to answer them, I do what works for me. It's like the hydro vs. Soil or HID vs. LED. If it grows good bud for you who cares how you did it? That's what's neat about all those variables they all offer something unique to make the plant better in one way, but not necessarily in another. So let's all appreciate the resilience of this plant and the variety of grow techniques, not criticize others for doing it differently! That's why I dont jusr follow coco ot DWC or soil, but all because they all have their own advantages and I love to see that in action, not cut someone down for it....
