I loved mad magazine as a kid. But was not reading them in the 60s or 70s....
Okay so I'm wondering if I missed the window of pollen. I had that damn plastic bag over the milk jug which likely spiked humidity and ruined any pollen. Smh. So, I have removed the jug. The bag was removed a few days ago. I did some reading and it appears I have had several sacs pop.... whoops.
I sprayed them good this morning. And Ill spray them good tonight. Then I'm gonna whack the nuts.
I really need to thin her out too but I start from the bottom up and the nuts are blocking entry #cockblock
I trimmed up baby G. Poor plant just isn't getting enough light. So hopefully once I get the castration finished I can boost her closer to the light.
Ivy is needing watering 3 times a day. And as previously predicted is flopping already! Ugh. I may do silica one more time. But new to prepare for support sooner than later.
Anyway just a couple notes for the grow. Hope your weeks are off to a good start!

Timing pollen sacs is always tough if you can’t quarantine the plant.
Well that's a bit of a bummer man. Hopefully you'll be able to salvage some. Always next time though eh?

Yep Just a bit of inexperience with the whole process. I've got some unopened clusters that will hopefully produce for me! Now, if we're too late to pollinate the plants is another debate, but it won't stop me from trying!

I'll go check but I believe Van goes straight into a sealed tube with 50% flour/pollen and rice, and into the freezer.

Yeah she had swamp nuts I guess? Idk. Just glad her lower branch has a lot of ripe balls!

Like i don't wanna put it in a bag or jar where the RH will spike and nutralize my spunk.... So I'll do a paper bag and they should continue to "off the vine ripen" after being whacked and any pods that dont open ill snip open. Shake collect add flower freeze than change and shower.
