Yeah time will tell mate.

The Ionic coco works great and really simple to use.

Ive just gutted the grow space but i have some weed hanging in there. I have put the small plants under a 600w light in there. I know weed should be dried in the dark but its almost dry, probs only another 24 hours then will be out of that space and cured for a couple weeks. So I will pot up the plants when I pull the weed out.

Ive built up all of the trays, all that is left is to cut the pipe work and build a stand for the res. However that can wait a couple weeks until plants are rooted in the the big pots. I think 3 weeks, possibly 4 weeks veg from now and then i will flip.

I still need to hang another 3 lights but they dont need to be up yet so i will get it done soon.

I've potted the babies up to the 22litre pots now and they have started full strength veg feed. I have just bought a new reverse osmosis filter so i can clean my water up. Ive been up and down on this for a while but its definately necessary.

Ive started training the plants by bending and they will be most likely scrogged. For now they will be top fed and the focus is to get a nice rootball before going into the Easyfeed trays. I go to the Uk on tuesday for 3 weeks so hopefully by the time i return these plants will be ready to flip.

I still only have 1 x 600w hps on right now but i will put 2 x 600w on before i leave. That should be more than enough to veg these plants up.

Wow.....look at the size of those buds on Blue Kripple. The plants look fantastic.

Were these under a 600w HPS? also how much do you think you will be pulling off each plant approx dry weight?

there are 13 plants under 6 x 600w hps. but 1 plant is a runt, the one in the 2nd flower picture. I always use 600w bulbs unless running leds but i never run less than 600w per square meter.

Theres still 14-21 days to go on these so they will really start packing on weight now. I will take them as far as i can until i suspect but rot is about to start. Bud rot is always an issue on big buds like these. But i will def get another 14 days from them. All the real weight starts now as they get denser and denser.

I never go weight per plant, I always go per light. This space is around 2.5 x 2.5m2. So based of light and available canopy space there will be in the region of 100oz dry. so divide that by 13 to get your answer per plant lol. Actually between 12 really as 12 plants are carrying all of the weight.

Its a really nice strain this Blue Kripple. It smells like mint and citrus, really nice.

How did ya manage to get 6 lights in that size space ain't it seriously hot
Ye looking at them I bet you are keeping ya eye open for rot I only ever get it in the bigger yielding strains
I love the length you seem to get on all the colas I only really had one grow where they seemed to join up that well im convinced it all to do with pruning
Bet ya was pretty happy to get nearly a kg out of the other grow that went Pete tonged defiantly better than kick in the bollex when ya fort all hope was lost

Its not hot mate. I hate growing in lofts as the temps swings between day and night can be huge. But i insulated it well. hottest it gets is 80f and coolest is 62f. Just have to make sure you have good extraction and well insulated.

The key to success in any grow is getting the environment correct. once you have that you are flying.

I was def lucky to get anything, especially after i lost my temper and started swinging plants around the room haha.

Bud rot worries me a lot, I'm hoping to not get any of that myself. How do you know when bud rot is going to set in and how long you've got cult? I was understanding that you need to keep the R/H for the last three weeks under 50% to help keep it at bay, is this correct? Do you run the dehumidifiers outside the tent also, as I don't think I'd have room for mine inside the tent.

You've got some serious skills cult, I hope to be able to grow like you with practice . Throwing a tantrum and swinging plants round the room, haha that made me crack up!

dont drop it under 50% if you can help it. it will help with bud rot but around 55% is best for flower. I dont run dehumidifiers at all in uk as its not necessary. if its getting over 60% then use dehumidfier. it depends on grow room size really. big tents or rooms put the dehumidifier in the room, small spaces outside as you dont want RH too low.

ive been growing a long time and without a break even when i was incarcerated i had things brewing. It becomes a chore in the end unless its your private space. I love my little grows more than the big stuff because its personal. the big stuff is stress and ballache. no one would ever give me a licence to grow in europe if it were legal yet i have more experience than most. its mega frustrating but thats life..

Practice makes perfect and when i started out there was no 420mag, so guys who are new have a wealth of info at your finger tips. Use that info to grow to where ever you need to be, just make sure you follow the guys who evidence their grows and walk the walk, not talk theory they read from jorges cervantes

Ok I'll stick for 55% during flowering, I've been keeping them between 55 and 60 in veg atmo, although it creeps up to 68 70 during lights off. OK so no dehumidifier needed unless it's going over 60%, got it. I take it that's when there is more chance of bud rot setting in and the size of the buds matter too.

You can see you've been growing a while cult, you've got some exceptional skills and your journals are just a wealth of knowledge for newbies like me. Exactly that, I can imagine it was just trial and error unless you happened to know somebody who knew what they were doing and they passed on their knowledge. New growers like myself are so lucky to have 420mag and growers like yourself who are willing to share their knowledge with others.

It sucks that good growers like yourself can't get a legit medical license, I'm hoping eventually we will follow suit like Canada and some states in America where you're allowed to grow for a certain number of patients, it's just so crazy that a little plant can cause so much bullshit and fuss. Especially when the medical advantages are so huge. Yeah that's a good bit of advice, I've seen you say that a few times, advice should only come from people who can back up their shit, and you certainly can, I'll say that again and again lol.

it all boils down to money in the end mate and uk will pharma the weed business guaranteed.

dont stress about humidity in veg unless its low, higher is good in veg.

Practice makes perfect, you're certainly correct there. It's fucking ridiculous what they class as a criminal these days, it's a fucked up world we live in when we have to worry and watch our backs all because of a plant.

Sorry to hear about the last grow bud, but i must admit i had the same problem some couple year ago with a very different circumstances tho. God damn leaking water pipe under the ground floor, floor boards ya ex pat ya know what i mean... totally spiked RH in the house, i still kick myself about to this to the day & would of been one of my best yields to date under a 400w with a past strain grown.

Yeah the Easyfeed looks like it will be good. ofcourse the proof is in the end result and i havent even fired it up yet. Just be 3 weeks of top fed veg before pots enter the system. i'd have liked to have done it sooner but with me being in the UK for an op this week it was easier to leave simple instructions. im going to top and bend the plants in the mean time or rather my help will do it. i get some more pics up at the weekend.

While im in the UK i might show a few other grows also just while theres not much happening with the Easyfeed. i see how i feel because i might not get out much over the next week or 2.

This is very interesting, subbed . I want to learn hydroponics. I have little confidence that soilless mix company's give a hoot about us, and formulas are changing for the worse, so they make more. I have noticed more bugs . And I'm witnessing definencies that wasn't present in previous grows of same strain. I won't name a brand, but it's the best seller in the world . DWC, Coir & perlite is what I'm thinking, and I want to automate it. Something just like your setup ? Teach me how ?

Just follow the journal and check out my other journals. I have lots and lots of info on growing in coco and dwc. For me coco is the best medium as its a great middle ground between soil and true hydro and is mega easy to grow in. This is just a simple gravity fed set up in coco. Bare in mind there are pros and cons to every way of growing and this is no exception. But for simplicity it doesnt get much simpler than this.

Hope your health is better and all tests are done in the UK.
In Holland, people are referred to the pharmacy to by cbd oil, but the quality is not so good, so they go to the coffee shops and buy. Not allowing cannabis as medicine is ONLY about money, since all the pharmaceutical companies will loose heaps of money.

And go a bit further, in the illegal countries, when you are busted..you pay lawyers/courts etc... they will loose customers too when cannabis is legalized.
