I had wondered jaga yea :) I remember u told me 108 was an important number but that's all u said before lol
So thankyou jaga.... That also interested me :)

A bit pissed off this morning..... Well not a bit.... A lot!!!
This ply wood iv been waiting on for days arrived yesterday.... My uncle (it's his friend who supply's it) said..... Alex the ply woods in the garage "so n so" has dropped it off. So I got to work knocking the old room down n building a new one. I stopped yesterday with all needed to finish was screwing the ply wood on. This morning a got up extra early so I could have my morning work finished for 9 to get on with em the build. I go in the garage and see this ply wood. It's a fukin state. At some point it's been wet and gone mouldy! So I rings the lad n he said sorry I left ur money in the paint tin it was all I could get so never charged u. That was decent of him

So all morning iv been sanding mould off ply wood then bleaching it to kill any spores. Now it's drying. Il bleach it again one dry before getting back to work. So the jobs not guna be done till tomorrow now :(

That's true la that's true

And jay ur right buddy that may be a good idea.
It will be done bone dry got the calour burner going all afternoon till I finish at 8 tonight. It don't look to bad now still a bit of staining but I'm not guna get that off. It smells fresh now too.

Hi mate, hope all is good? .....what a total bummer that plywood situation is :( Don't try to force dry it mate or it'll either warp like mad or de-laminate...neither a good thing to happen. Suggestion though...cut it to size and, if you can stand it up. Ant excess moisture will run down and be easier to treat......voice of experience talking here so TRUST ME :)

Hey oz :) I to late lol I had cut it to size and stood it up against the wall. Had the heater facing it but at the other side of garage.
It's dryed now it's blistered on one side ever so slightly but I think that's off the water damage previously so... I got lucky this time lol

Hey mick :) no not quite :) but it will be in the morning buddy. Except for painting and skirting board

Hi Buddy. Blistering will just be minor delamination. The reason I said cut it because it will delam at the edges generally which you can cover with skirting and architrave if needed. Mate, you'll get it sorted spot on I have NO doubt :)

If you're buying new mate then white would be the shout :) If the old stuff is water based add some fresh water and stir it in well. If oil based a little white spirit will be ok. Here's a "Kim n Aggie" moment for you........2 or 3 lemons cut in half and cover the pulp with salt. Leave them in the room for a day or two and it takes the fumes out and replaces with a fresh lemon smell :) Works great in fridges n freezers that have been unplugged too :)
