Hello spimp and oz :) not been around today mega busy with work
My girls leaves look awful. I no the up curling is due to the heat stress she's suffered at times.
There a lush green with mottled lighter green areas. May be just due to the dry air.
New growth seems lighter green I dunno what could bee the issue.
I'd put close ups on but the boys here so I won't be doin piks till monday

We all shall witness the final almighty battle for supremacy between our fated maiden and the ancient brotherhood soon enough!

Must be in that range somewhere then. No mold, no bugs. Put about 100 silica gel desiccant packets in a tray. Running at 52% at 81f with lights on. Down to 60% at 65f with them out. 5point drop in one hour. I'll take it. :)
 
I even used fine table salt in trays to absorb moisture once, did me ok. Seemed to draw quite a bit of moisture in ? You could tell as it goes all clumpy and weird :)
 
Hi Alex my mucker :) Hope Mathildas looking a bit better for you? Some of y girls go through "phases" of lightening/darkening too. I put it down to growth spurts lol. I don't think it's anything to worry about though. Leaf curl (as cult said on my journal) is due to heat issues but they're resolvable by raising the light a little or improving air in/out rates. I've currently got a 10m coil of 8" ducting running out of the back of my aircon and into our bedroom :) LOVELY and warm......best warm air blower EVER....even smells nice lol :)
 
Lol I can't afford to run a AC oz I'm not tapping into next doors electric like u haha. Aware of the leaf curl mate but thankyou for the info :)
I no what u mean about growth spurts but really the leaf colours are not due to normal growth spurts. Just off exp I no that much I really think its due to the low humidity they are dry too obv a side effect of low humidity. Il try pop up a pik later :)
Hoping it's not a deficiency or if it is that it's an easy fix one

Me thinks its the humidity + maybe a little other issue? I have had similar myself in past. In my case they just grew out of it. It could be also partly due to ya pot. As its an air pot I take it that it dries out quicker, than ur usual? This would also lower RH In your area.
Apart from that though the flux looks great :)
 
I know you have already fed some. Me personally and with the size pot you have, I wouldn't of fed yet, but thats just with my soil just a thought?
 
Hi mate. Yeah that RH is really, really low. Are you still using the wet towel? Really need it up to high 30s as a minimum buddy.

The pot as u say. And also the nutes may be a issue too and ozz your right about the humidity. Not been religiously changing water n towel but hat method never got it over 30.
With the nutes I'd never really through veg ever my soil usually carried my plants threw my normal 30 day veg.
But I'd read so many journals and feeding schedules of people using Dutch pro from 14-21 days (not in coco-in soil) I figured maybe I'm missing out on rapid growth. That said I'm not sure the leaves look nute burned or nute affected. I'm leaning towards the low humidity and high temps she's dealt with. Maybe I just need to add pink bits for her again to make her feel like a lady n cheer her up
 
Hey Alex, just checking in on your last update. I hope you don't mind my opinion on the leaf discoloration, in fact it is a deficiency I have way too much experience with as I have been battling it for weeks now.

The curling of the leaf edges on most of the plant combined with the chlorosis on the margins of the leaf edges (mainly on upper foliage) leads me to believe this is a Mg related problem...whether a lockout or deficiency, now that I cannot tell you without meter readings. Which leads me to conclude with an unsure step forward. Whether to reduce feed or to supplement with more Mg is still unclear to me at this point.

Can't hurt to much at this point to just feed water. As LA said my soil is already rich
Do any of us no how one would make a MG booster naturally as apposed to buying a supplement?
Not for right away but for the future if it does infact turn out as a MG deff

Humidity today is 50% that is due to watering last night lol
I wonder if with having the air pots and a soil with perlite and coco mixed in if I would be ok watering 1litre per day
The last week/2 it's been 1 litre every other day it drys quick and is probs to dry wen after two days
If I water daily the humidity stays more manageable
 
My friend just done some research for homemade remedies on Mag, just epsom salts my friend :). I now give my girls a water with some a couple of times in their lives, just for preventative measures as I filter all my water.
I also just learn't to save my egg shells and coffee grounds :)

Oh and go with the daily watering my friend, just water the outer edges of pot each time. With the pots you have I'm sure it will be ok as should dry out quite quickly!!!
 
I just use a teaspoon of Epsom to 3 pints :) Im sure someone else will give a more correct measurement, I just went with gutt.
