Hey all, Reg Im with everyone else. Your doing a job that may seem thankless to you and yet to those nameless # your vital for real aid to be given. I grew up with my farther working in this broard area of work. He was a teacher that specialized in disabled and mentally handicapped children. He was at the coal face as it were and certainly had its drawbacks.
He then after being retired moved permanently to Vietnam to set up the first ever care system for disabled kids over their. Before hand it was seen as a mark against the family. So they would give these young kids to local farmer's etc. They were kept in disgusting states like animals on mass. Then as said he went over working for the V gov and now there is a system for their care and education.

That isn't a "job" or "career", it's a vocation or calling......you need to be a very special kind of person to do that ad wade through ALL the red tape and inherent obstacles he undoubtedly faced.
