I was studying Gitt earlier and she is coming along real nice! Ill do a good update tomoz on both my threads. She has really bushed out with foliage now and is already showing sex. So I may have to veg a little while longer as because she is mature now she wont stretch as much when flipped. As said I want big ass buds so upwards growth is essential!
 
Arrr I see mate so I'm guessing now your growing vertical you will not be nipping any nodes off anymore.
Ideally with her being mature how many inches of vertical growth are u aiming for aprox before flipp?

Also mate just gone checked my temps etc. My temp is 90 and thats pretty constant lights on, humidity is 35%. Night time not even sure lol. If you cantget Iit down get yourself a co2 kit made up. As you can run hotter with co2 in place.
 
Alex lol ya daft gitt. The amounts when using a home made kit is a little boost for the plant. But in no quantity that could ever build up to harm you. I reckon I want 6-8 inche vert before flip and yeah im letting her build nodes now on the upwards growth. She will be a beast soon enough!
 
Honestly my friend DIY kits only produce enough to be a slight aid to the plant. Never anywhere the levels that could buold up or harm. They are also cheap as chips to run.
Gitt is gonna go nuts im convinced when I look at her that she is gonna be awesome. I so cant wait to flower her!
 
Is your CO2 kit a brewers yeast one mate? I was thinking of piping in welders CO2 initially but it really isn't cheap. Brewers yeast on the other hand is great :)

Yep yeast dead cheap. Raining down would be the optimum, just remember your fans will blow it about. That's why my hose goes to expel just in front of my little fan. So it gets spread evenly over the plant.
 
Oh and some plumbers tape/Iinsulation tape, bluetack just something for a reeal good seal.

Hey guys, I just used a 4 ltr. Plastic bottle half filed with water, add a cup of sugar and a couple of pkgs. of Fleishman's yeast and hang it above the plants. Silicon a plastic tube into a hole in the cap and it's macking CO2. I recharge it every month but even then I can smell freshly baked bread and moonshine when I shake it taking it down. Not sure if helps but it doesn't hurt.

Great info guys, thanks. I was thinking of setting up a fish tank type air pump to suck it up and discharge it over the girls through 2 pipes with loads of holes (tea bag style lol) poked through it. Hard to explain but I can "see" it in my mind lol :)
 
If you have a couple you get more CO2. Also Donpaul pointed out that if you have one other bottle like mine that has some water in it as a bong type filter for the gas produced. Stops yeast smell and any overflow foaming.

Yeah, I'm considering adding a second bottle at he other end. It can't hurt. LA, my society of McGiver Engineering skills at work again. If I can make something that works with free stuff around me, that's the way I go. Rube Goldberg is dead here, I hope.
The only smell is a very occasional whiff of fresh baked bread. No threat to over flow at all.
