I seem to be following quite a lot of grows and just realized that I have not seen any mention of the time of day you feed and water your plants. Lights on? Lights off? It's weird that I never considered this before.

Set my new timer unplugged my light n plugged it back in to the timer.
And of course my metal halide wouldn't fire. I think it needs time to cool down sure I read that somewere

you should not try to re light a High Intensity Discharge light before 15 minutes after it goes off or it will harm the light bulb.

Yep I was just about to shout at you for that one lol.You have to let it cool down before refire. I thought everyone new this lol like not being able to handle the bulbs or if you do wiping it down thoroughly. Anyhing on it oils wise/ dirt etc can blow your bulb.

Ive always known it and still did it the other day when gert died. Lol I rushed in and turned it off in a panic, freaked out for a sec then dashed to get the flux girl threw her in there and banged light back on for some daft reason. So dont stress to much lol.
