Alaskan1's Flo n Gro Mixed Bag Grow

Thanx Xlr8!

Later on in the grow I will be adding some new things to the room such as 3 20 amp outlets with thier own breakers, a attic fan that will actually vent into the attic to cool the room as needed and then some controls to automatically adjust room /tent temps and RH.

Seeing that you live in a cold climate, I wouldnt go pumping the heat from your grow tents into the attic. You want the attic temp to stay as close to the outside temp as possible.....Otherwise, snow and ice buildup will melt on the roof then freeze back up in your gutters and right before the gutters. Which will create an ice dam. Shortening the life of your roof and can create leaks into the house.

Update for today............spent the day up in the attic and running wire for the new outlets in the grow room. Had to throw some plywood down so I wouldn't fall through the sheetrock! Tomorrow I will try and see if I can snake the wire down the walls and into the breaker box.
No pictures since I didn't think anyone would be interested in how to run wire and install new outlets lol

Sounds like you've been busy! You're really jumping in with both feet here - it's making me tired just thinking about all you've got going on. ;)

:goodluck: with your projects. Make sure you're not too medicated while working in the breaker box. :trance:

sounds like a fun day bud... so how r those girls doing? hows the root rot recovery goin?

girls are doing good, The root rot seems to be clearing up pretty well. Have new white roots growing through the old crappy ones so hope is still alive. Let me tell ya these will be some huge ass headcheese plants, they been in veg for like 3 months.....lol

isnt that the truth!? once a problem hits for me, i know its time to get ready for another one. root rot, root aphids, low PH for 3 days (no meter at one point) and its just feels like once ive over comed an obstacle and post my victory on here, another problem erupts instantly.

yea id deffinately wait. i gave my master kush 5 days to recover from the root rot then bloomed her...NONE of my side brances were longer than like 4 inches..just a bunch on nubs growing off her stem. she was a sad looking lady. i could tell she still had room to stretch and she needed it. ill NEVER early bloom again unless working in a small space..but i dont personally think ill ever grow in a small space where im restricted to height. im going to grow these things for 4-5 months i dont want to waste my time on shorties. i see alot of people with plenty of room in their grow spaces who bloom WAY to early for my taste. i understand the ones with restricted areas BUT for those who arent limited i just slap my forehead and roll my eyes.

your on the right track your patience makes you a great gardener.

ok, I know this is totally off topic but, I just came out of the garage after partaking in some white widow and I guess I scared our dog as it did a total "scooby doo" move into the wall, feet were going to fast I couldn't see them. and the rest of the body was like in s l o w motion lol.

My dog is always doing crazy stuff like that - that had to have sent you rollin'! :)

those lazy weekends are sometimes the most rewarding. my weekends are usually running around, entertaining my little 5 month daughter or working so when i get to lay on my ass all day in bed smoking bong rip after bong rip playing video games is just a great feeling to know you have no responsibilities for the day!

Ok, finally have an update worth talking about. Got all the electrical work done for the grow room. Each tent has it's own 20 amp outlet (with breaker) to power the 3 tents that have 2000 watts of light per tent. Fired off the lights and everything was a go!
Tomorrow I'll be fixinb some things with the tent I just don't like and setting up the Flo N Gro system and making a few test runs. I'll take some pictures along the way and post em up.
