Going to have some trees in there come flower time! :bravo:

It's looking that way!

Looking great Alf! Going to be a wonderful tent of buds soon enough!

Looking forward to it!

That’s wonderful news on increased comfort in social settings Al! That’s a really big hurdle. So many unknowables in social interaction.

Plans sound good. Trees look, tree-ish:D

Finding your rhythm socially is one of the hardest things a neurotypical person does. So much more difficult for the autistic mind. Studies show that endocannabinoids drive social rewards in the brain.

I do want to make sure @SweetSue is aware of this study

Endocannabinoid signaling mediates oxytocin-driven social reward

" Genetic or pharmacological interruption of anandamide degradation offsets the effects of oxytocin receptor blockade on both social place preference and cFos expression in the NAc. The results indicate that anandamide-mediated signaling at CB1 receptors, driven by oxytocin, controls social reward. Deficits in this signaling mechanism may contribute to social impairment in autism spectrum disorders and might offer an avenue to treat these conditions. "

Great job on the plant's Al you should be proud. Inspiring story about your son I'm really glad the cannabis is helping him a huge step forward for you guys.

Thank you. I am. Your words are humbling.

Time for "Coffee Talk", I am feeling verklempt.

I done went and learnt a new word! I love new words.

All of this, @Alafornia every last word of it, @Tangled Is absolutely amazing! Warms my heart to hear your boys not just walking, but taking strides in progression. This is great news!! :thumb:

Makes me want to :yahoo:

There is a light, it may have been dim in the past, but it sounds to me as if the light at the end of the tunnel is getting much brighter. It may never be bright enough to lit the entire hallway, but it’s all we need! :circle-of-love: One step At a time!

Ohh, and your plants look great too, but that’s not whats important in this particular moment.:thumb:

The plants looking great are important inasmuch as they will be his medicine - hopefully better than what he presently has since I carefully chose each to complement each other in the cannabinoid profile so we hit the sweet spot of the entourage effect.

I am humbled and touched that our story has moved people. We are so happy that cannabis has helped. Still tons of work to do on multiple fronts but we do have hope - and I got to tell you, hope is an underappreciated thing at times. When you are losing it you "hope" for nothing more than something to restore it. We now have that something and hope that others across the world have legal access to it very soon. To keep this healing plant away from those who need it should be the crime. It is a moral crime.

Great news Al, I’m so happy for your family. Cannabis has also helped my family ( my youngest son),as u probably already know. But I have also learned to not be such a hard ass, and listen better. 1 more week and I’m clear to get my body back to its happy spot. Keep em green!!!

Boy, learning that line between hardass and too soft is a delicate dance. I have learned to listen better (shut up, Tangled :D ) and I've learned his face and body language to the point that I can anticipate things quite often long before they happen which can help avert them. His teacher last year and again this year is quite astute himself in learning my son's cues. This year we are going to be pushing the boundaries a bit but he is decent enough at reading the signs to know when it's enough.

Glad you will soon be back in your happy spot and also happy for your son as well.

All y'all are wonderful. It is a pleasure to have you here.

Hey Al. You’re right to be proud of that garden, mate. Looking gorgeous! And healthy clones too. You came out of your box fully assembled, didn’t you?

And Newfun:
verklempt

Thanks. Only reason Al beat me to that is because he spends more time on his journal than I do. It’s North American slang, but bodacious anyway. Next time I feel verklempt I will know what to call it :)

I lifted that little piece for Class Notes Alafornia, and thanks for the link. :hugs: I could study hard for the next thirty years and I think I’d just be scratching the surface.

It’s a serious social justice issue that cannabis is not freely available to anyone who wants to use it. Someday we’ll correct that mistake. I appreciate the chance to be part of the change. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Every time I walk into one of these rooms I’m moved by the courage it takes to even start the process. We are not the average citizen, are we? Thank the stars for that. :circle-of-love:

Pretty sure there were a few loose screws.

We are on the same page, SweetSue. Call it social justice or civil rights or just plain moral decency but cultivating an environment where those in need of this plant's healing properties have access to it is crucial. Thank you for all you do because it's more important than you may realize.

Holy cannabis, Batman. That's one beautiful tent!
You and your family are an inspiration to all families. :green_heart:

Thank you for the kind words.

This song has been running through my head for days.

"And she comes to me when there's nothing I believe
And holds me so high yes I am free
Saying why hold the anger
It won't let you fly
Just remember I'll remember & mama mama
I'll get by... " - Beth Hart, Mama (live at Paradiso is the best version)

I tend to take the first day back to school off just in case. Gonna check on the plants soon.

Happy plants this morning.

Looking healthy and getting strong. Sorry if i missed it, but how much longer do you plan on vegging?

I figure we should be ready inside of two weeks. Trying to get a more even canopy.

Yeah, the plant is important, very important, but my compliments towards said plants weren’t important, at that time. :thumb:

Took a few pics tonight. Tied down NL and Nikita a bit better. Probably still have a bit to go on those two. Clones are alive, though one is looking a little rough despite my efforts. Didn't pay attention to which one (distracted, I guess).

First day back to school seemed to be good. Hope you are all having a good day.

Pretty sure I’ll need to put my cal mag to use. Should I wait until the next watering or go ahead anyway? Only two flies caught on the tape since last night so going to back off on the washings too.

Are you seeing any signs of deficiency? I can't spot any in your pictures. What makes you sure you will need it?

The new growth is looking yellow on several. OG Kush CBD’s Top/new growth looks rough to me. The Clone looks similar. I’ll get better pics tonight or at lunch if I can.

That looks more like the beginnings of an iron deficiency on those, but it is hard to be sure since new growth is always a little lighter.... but I would go that direction rather than calcium or magnesium at this point.
This deficiency is almost always about pH... a lot of times because of things added to the soil but iron is not nearly as mobile in the upper ranges of pH, either in soil or hydro. Adjust pH to the lower end of the range usually will clear this problem up without any additional changes and always adjusting to 5.8 or higher or 6.5 or higher in soil can easily be the cause.

Thank you. I was thinking of getting some ph down anyway since my water ph is around 7.3, IIRC. I may give that a try first.

The group then OG Kush CBD to try to show it a little better.
