Alafornia's 1st Time Multistrain Medical Grow

[Alafornia]

A few trichome pics. I skipped on the White Russians as they are putting out a lot of white pistils so I figure they aren't done yet at all. I got three different buds on the others. Overkill? Isn't that what this is all about?!

Most plants look mostly cloudy. I see some clear and a few amber.

MH1 is turning a little purply. Not that important but I was hoping to get one of the 30%+/- that turn purple in late flower. I know I mentioned it before. Sorry about that.

Cool! My outdoor Candida (parent of MH1 for those who don’t know) went quite purple at the finish.

60% sativa, thanks to the CBD rich strain with which she was crossed.

The White Russians appear to be adding bulk. Northern Lights is just...wow. OG Kush CBD has some beautiful fall colors. Some big buds in this tent.

Cool! My outdoor Candida (parent of MH1 for those who don’t know) went quite purple at the finish.

OK. Again, getting ready for harvest.

For bud-washing I'll need three buckets? The agreed upon method seems to be peroxide mixed with 1 pint to 5 gal lukewarm water in one bucket and lukewarm plain water in the other? Lemon juice and baking soda are not needed and are maybe unpopular? So I'll need at least two buckets.

I ordered a handheld cordless "grass trimmer/brush shear" for about $35 to give a try. I have fiskars, but I figure it's worth a try. I saw some marketed for cannabis for $300, which I thought was beyond ridiculous as I saw no difference between them. Again, I'm going to try it on a few buds and see what you good folks think. I'll also try a few buds by hand and post comparison pics.

It's likely a few plants will be ready by this weekend. Good thing I have next week off!

The 3x3 tent came yesterday. The trellis nets came today (going to stretch them across and hang buds on them in layers).

I'll have some nitrile gloves. I have some pans for trimming.

Throw something at me and let's see if I'm ready.

Actually you only need H202 if there is mold or powdery mildew. I use 3 buckets (5 gal i think). First with water and 1/4 cup of Bi-carb and 1/4 cup of lemon or lime juice, second and third buckets w water only. What I’ve seen Doc Bud post on it is “you want to wash your buds, not sterilise them”. He also says something about the positive effects from the solution that i cant remember now - I’m referring to Doc because as far as I know, he pretty much ‘invented’ budwashing. Many opt for h202 cause of ease maybe, and maybe threat of mold, but here it’s massively expensive so i use the original recipe - well actually DOc’s revised recipe (as i listed above) as he originally said 1/2 a cup of each and has since cut that in half.

The boy is still struggling, but still not breaking things or being violent. He is going to have to work his way back to school. He wants to be there but the school wants him to show understanding of why his actions were a problem first and I am in support of that. He still isn't talking to me. I am trying to be patient with him but I have concerns. He isn't eating well and has withdrawn. Nothing new there but I was hoping to see some improvement by now. He wants to be all grown up but has no idea what that really means.

The yo-yos are great. I have the vivosun yo-yos with two hooks on each one. They do a wonderful job for me. IIRC, since putting one on NL in the last couple of nights I'm using all 24.

Watered tonight with a single bucket. Got a late start because I crashed after getting home. Just gonna wait on cutting. We have stuff if I do this.
