Winter is over
From now on it's all vegging plants
In the greenhouse I think
And thats all for now
Wow!

Hi Strain. Somehow your journal fell off my radar and I have just had a notification generated by the site. It's interesting to see what you are doing and preparing. I am fascinated by the banana peel thing and look forward to following your grow this season. All the best :goodluck:

Can't believe I was last here 25 October
Work work work
Plants taken a second place for a while.
But we are getting back on track
Attempts made at using my veg cupboard for flowering.
Greenhouse plants were in veg but smaller pots otherwise they would have outgrown the space.
But now the light cycle is good for flowering again.
So things are getting back on track
So some more posts on the way
Perhaps I should start a new thread
What do you guys think?

Hey Strain. Good to have you back. Looking forward to some pics. :passitleft:

Hi guys
Good to be back
Well at this stage I am going to stick with this thread
I changed some things around
Before I changed them they looked like this
Seedling fridge
20200311_150432.jpg

At the back some White Widow and Northern Lights seedlings
In front some Cali Orange
20200311_150428.jpg

The flowering cupboard looked like this
20200311_150400.jpg

Cali Orange Super lemon haze on the left
A supposed Durban poison on the right
The plants are not strong. They grew fast and not enough wind from the fan
I have made another plan with them yet to be revealed in my changes

And the greenhouse had some interesting stuff going on
Plants I think I know and some I have no Idea
Not much attention to detail while I had to work work work
The Greenhouse looked like ....
20200311_150509.jpg

Some of the younger plants going into flower. Cali Orange and a two bud tiny Stitched up Kush
20200311_150457.jpg

Some of the bigger plants that have got quite thirsty lately as you can see
Durban poison ( thirsty )
Cali Orange Super lemon haze
( yellow )
In the back middle a medical super strain ( apparently ) no name given by the provider of seed as yet
Back left another Cali orange lemon super haze
In front of those a lemon something thats been in the greenhouse the longest
So a reasonable update before I made changes

As an aside a friend has been growing some outdoor
I thought some pics of it may be of interest
The tallest is now 3.5 m tall and around 2m wide
Have a look at this
20200111_184004.jpg

The pic was taken over a month ago. These plants are at about 5 to 6 weeks flowering now
Will post another update for those who are keen soon

Some feedback on the experiment I conducted using banana skins to see if I could fem seeds.
After 2 weeks of leaving the seeds in a plasic bag with banana skins, I germinated them and found no noticable difference between the ratio of males to females from those seeds.
So it didn't work for me.
The gas immitted by banana skins was supposed to do the same job as Coloidial Silver.
CS is usually rubbed onto the new hairs on a plant that has been pollinated and this process produces femmed seeds.
From my experiment I think that one should stick to this process

Back to the changes to my setup at home on a tomato farm
My seedling fridge got mostly cleaned out of seedlings
20200312_151954.jpg

The flowering cupboard is back on a vegging light cycle and 3 White Widow 2 Northern Light and 1 Cali Orange have been moved into it from the seedling fridge
20200312_151922.jpg

The plants from flowering cupboard have been moved out to the greenhouse where I am supporting their frail stems for the wind factor
