I know and only two plants at a time that’s years right there. And not including seeds from other orders. Very excited.
 
Looks like you're dealing well with the two plant limit. Big pots and a long veg is definitely the way to increase the per-plant yield.

I believe the VT law is that we're allowed four plants in veg as well as the two in flower. Given that, it seems a perpetual grow makes sense for increasing annual yield. I wish I had room for a second tent.

Yea I veg till they are the size I want not on a time limit.
Yes agreed with the 4 smaller mother plant types or pre veg. How on earth do you do a perpetual grow with never more than two plants flowering ? I’ve been trying to think how to do a perpetual but get hung up with less than 3 plants. I mean I guess fast autos maybe ? Pretty sure no more than two weeks into any veg and it will qualify as a “mature” plant or whatever.
 
I don't know how they define "mature". I'm guessing it would be a plant with pistils.

Just thinking while I'm typing....with feminized seeds, you could germinate two seeds every 2-3 months depending on the flowering period of what's currently in flower. So you have two plants in mid to late veg, two seedlings and two plants in flower. After harvest, move the two late-veg plants to flower tent, and start germinating two more.

With a mother plant and clones, it seems more difficult to stay legal. You'd need to have one too many plants in the veg tent???

And I guess we can forget about breeding....
 
Yea I forget but I think you can have unlimited clones. So you can do a mother plant but there will be lots of carnage. You would have to dedicate a male and a female and if flowing at same time no smoke. I’m not sophisticated enough to breed. But we won’t talk about my relationship hardships.
 
Well, we can form a bit of a lonely hearts club here and enjoy our little lady herb. In the last few years I came to a place where I'm enjoying the freedom of not being in a permanent relationship. What a concept from my earlier years when I could imagine not being in one.

Everything has its trade off and equals out in the end. I too have been alone long enough that dealing with another person is difficult. No kids so I spend all my money on me, have a nice new vehicle and only my name on my home loan. I’m very close with my parents and wouldn’t be where I am without them. I get to spoil myself, do what I want when I want and my decision only affects me. Also after some soul searching I’ve leraned that being alone can be painful but relationships leave a much deeper scar when your emotionally connected and having problems. Pain of alone hurts less than pain of people.

Yeah... TX is no fun for growers... I'm convinced: we aren't gonna see legalization until it's done federally. I dream of walking into a fucking store to buy herb if I needed

Yes I am also a medical patient with “qualifying conditions”. I did the dispensary thing with a similar market. I’m so happy to be transitioning to independence in this.

I know it will always still threaten my job and livelihood until it is.
 
Looking great @Advocate420! Thanks for checking my journal out. I’m only used to buying seeds as I need them. Now with everything coming in I’m looking at about 100 seeds consisting of 33 strains. Like you I’m overwhelmed trying to figure out what to use next. And for some reason I can’t stop looking at other seeds lol.
