My thinking is drilling a vent so you could vent out heat at will. What Shed said?

I almost made holes in the upstairs but just left the a/c window unit in and vent hot air out through it during the winter

Hey Advocate! I’m getting caught up around here.
So tent 1 is a lung tent for tent 2?
By that I mean, you are feeding the tent 2 with the environment from tent 1? Where does tent 1 draw air from currently? I assume the room the tents are in.
My biggest challenge, hands down, is venting the tent but not venting all my precious humidity. If I let my exhaust fan run nonstop it will lower my humidity to non-VPD approved levels
. I imagine this is the same issue with CO2.

nobodyhere runs CO2 in his tent with a sensor to control venting. That's about all I can tell you because I wasn't paying close attention .

SO with the two tent idea, tent one is a vented tent and is in constant negative pressure. The exhaust will remain exactly the same but got through the light in tent two, a sealed hood, and continue on with the light heat. I actually use the heat and humidity into my house in winter. My humidity is at 50% and my furnace doesnt work as hard. I actually have been running dehumidifier to keep things under control and i use forced hot air and have dry environment. My goal is 0 ventilation in the sealed tent. You dont need to replace the air when using c02. Im just not sure if its recommended to vent during the night cycle as i havnt studied any other journals about it yet.Hey Advocate! I’m getting caught up around here.

sweet thank you. never one thought. The AC is to help keep the sealed environment sealed. Haven’t gotten to the journal yet but the book I’m reading mentions that you determine the amount of CO2 to give by the amount of light available.ill have to measure this as I think this grow is too much light also because they got so tall.
Rolling some Blueberry OG and reflecting on what, how to be remembered when gone.

as for the Co2 talk it’s all very interesting and above my head lol
Just finished reading your first journal, and the start of your second, I’m scared to get bugs, know it will happen one day, so I was curious of how you dealt with them. So much to clean

For me, I threw the plants away after finding the source(WAS THE SOIL)cleaned and disinfected everything, GOT BETTER SOIL, and started again. My approach is not very popular lolI love the bud pics and the fat blunt

I just meant the tossing them part. I did experiment with different methods of killing them off before scrapping. Was good to learn, getting rid is just terrible.

Loving seedsman at the minute. Know this was a little while back but did u end up dropping the strawberry banana? I just chucked mine to flower a couple weeks ago. Shes a frosty girl thats for sure. I shall continue flicking through anyway

As a matter of fact I’m setting up to drop a bean of Strawberry Banana this week, very excited-it tested so high in THC according to Seedsman. Sounds yummy too. I will be sure to jump in your thread and see her!

You mean they look like the strain they are supposed to be? I know the traits, smells and looks are all spot on with my limited exposure.
