Advocate420 Soil Grow 2018

These girls stretched for about 2 weeks longer than expected. This round I have gone too high, they are about eye height. Some leaves showing light burn. Can’t wait to post more pics of this grow. Colas are impressing me. Thanks for saying hello !
 
So I got a new TDS meter and my tap water is 240+Ppm. I was diluting with RO water to lower it. There is a water fill station of natural spring water an achievable distance away. It’s tested 33ppm and it’s likely not copeper, chlorine and salts. Now been using that and moving water.
Girls were drinking about 4-5 gal every 2 to 3 days. Bumped to 5 to get run off.
Still using a 14gal reservoir to heat and aerate the water. It was to bake off the chlorine but this solves that. I still pump the water into 1 gal containers for mixing my nutes. This has been working great. I also can pump water by hose direct into tent if I didn’t want to use nutes. Not there yet.
Still using the bioCanna nute line with added canazyme, P/K from standard non organic line and cal mag.
Here they were a few weeks after the last posts.

Plants look stellar and my tap water comes in right where yours does. I just ignore it and pretend it's 0! Sorry to hear you're feeling low Advocate. I've said it before so I'm repeating myself, but even though you're anonymous on the internet, you have folks who care about you here. We may not be nearby but we're always near.

I guess the solitary lifestyle and depression is just heavy on my mind tonight. I needed some support. Thank you for being awesome.
 
I get so much joy from my friends here. I count you among them. You and your 7-second delay grow ;).
 
The more often you post the more subs you get! People like to follow along with the story: the ups and downs and swings and misses. Either way, you have a dedicated following of folks who care.
 
Cannabis helps my bi polar so much. I’ve been diagnosed since 16, suicidal since 9 and have had 5 manic episodes, one lasting a year so far. I’ve been exiled from jobs and the community. Had to move and here I am. I take a handful of daily medications all my life. Cannabis relieves the ideation greatly.
Took over a year of growing for the anxiety of growing to wear down.
I’ve ruined my life so many times. I don’t have close relationships outside of my family and I may be losing some of the 3 I have soon. It gets frustrating, can’t find relationships, been single and without dates for about 5 years now. I try putting energy out there but this has been my path.
I feel like this is gossip and not applicable but there it is.

And a thanksgiving cactus blooming. My mother gave it to me. Can’t wait to spend time with my family this thanksgiving.

I ski, snowmobile, my job is also a hobby as most my free time I volunteer and go to trainings. I don’t drink or go to bars. Usually when the beers come out I go home, have a toke and do my own thing. I’m in northern New England USA. Population here is very low with tons of probs.
 
Nice spears on top of those stems! And a whole sea of them :thumb:. And when a cactus flowers it really stands out that something that mean-looking can produce something so pretty.

I think friends can come from the places I least expect them if I can quiet the voice in my head that say "they probably don't have room in their lives for anyone like me."

We have a number of growers in NE. If you're remotely interested I can probably come up with a list!

I'm not sure what that means. Does that mean you are interested in a list of 420 growers in New England?
 
There might be someone near you. Or a get-together or something! I'll start pulling names and states together. Off the top of my head I know Van Stank is in MA and Blew Hiller is in ME.
 
Not sure about "rocks" but I've made some. Newty and Preston9mm are the gummy royalty. I've posted a tutorial (ignore the fact that I used fan leaves...that was just to see if they can get you high, and the answer: they can if you eat enough!) if you want simple, and Preston has an entire cooking thread. What did you have in mind? I can point you to something more directly if those don't help.
