Advice please

Now @bluter , @Backlipslide so sunday was start of week 9 I mixed like 1/3 strength. Seems they are like @Kismet Said they have plateau stop eating think maybe 10ppm was consumed from then until last night and water level lowered but not much most of it was probably sucked up thru dehumidifier bc normally I add 2 or 3g daily fresh water tester , yesterday was the 3/4 g drained from ac so itd basically like distilled water and I added one more gal declorinated tap. And ph was at like 5.9. So if I'm ready harvest I get mixed reviews, dont need flush. Flush last 72 hrs, waiting on @bluter with his old school method. So before they get more amber on them, I dunno quickly they turn so need to know if I need to flush or not to flush and if so the best ,easiest , quicker fail proof flush plz tell me.

You might be ok without a fan in there. I’m terrified of losing a crop to bud rot so, I always put a fan in the area. I’m by no mean a professional at drying, nor do I have any tips or pointers to “the proper” way of doing it off the top of my head. I do have links to those such things. I just kinda do it, make it happen, and get on with the process. I’ve got no time to be doing a slow dry. I’ve had good success with doing what I’ve been doing, so I can’t fix what’s not broken lol.

for a flush, what size pots you in? For me personally I would run 3 gallons of clean water in my 5 gallon pots. Then hit them again with another gallon of nutrient solution. Mixed close to 100% as their finishing up flower, so they will want the stronger nutrient solution. Brush your hands clean, and walk away! :thumb:

in rdwc i used to flush ten days to one wk before chop. i used 1 ml 29% h202 and 1 ml cal mag per L RO and did a complete res change. 24 hrs later another complete res change with 1/4 nutes. this pulls everything from the root zone and then replaces it with just background nutes. then go to straight water in the last 3 days.

i don't worry about flush anymore. if i do it at all, i do it once i feel the plants are done according to trichomes. about 2 - 3 days before chop i'll do a flush, then go to straight water within 24hrs. the flush is not something i worry about timing correctly or even getting done any more

Want to congratulate you on an awesome run now. Good job X you got this. Your learning curve was faster than me.

Thanks @Backlipslide @Kismet @bluter and everyone else. Now I can u recommend an automatic trimmer for wet or dry. Last grow 1 plant took me like 4 hrs and got just over 4.5 oz. This grow I know alot more much better equipment and added some things. So it's going to take me a million years. I see the standing ones or crank ones on amazon my friend has the commercial one that tumbles process and oz ever 5 seconds. I dont need that I did find one by grow gen does 4lbs dry an hr or 2 lb wet but sold out. And one have anyone tried the hand crank one? The table top ones , or the top feed automatic ones with bag to catch trimmings? If I didnt start getting amber trichomes i would have ordered that last standing one think it's only 299. But wouldn't get here until sunday. I really wanted to do it wet because u hang dry leave ees s get stuck to buds RIP chrome's off and u can lose some of your product. May still get it to have for future or to run them once thru one time when dry. I'm guessing under that 1 light I got over 1.5 g/watt easy. And I could have done a bit better before flipping. So I'm hoping. 2.5lb off 4 under 1 light. Here's one cola couldn't get all in picture then I removed 6 branches off it once u see it cleaned up. I'm maybe a 1/3rd thru my 1st plant. Thus why I want a machine. Hand crank would be fine but for a lil more I can get a standing one and the company that makes the small tumbler is out of stock or I would have paid the 580 I think it was right now the hand one start at like 115 and go upwards 2 or 300 standing units start at 3 and go up to 1500 and then commercial tumblers I seen from 2k to 20k

Ive never personally used a Bowl trimmer so I can’t say how well they work. I know someone here on the mag has one and used one, I just can’t remember who it was exactly. They said it worked fine for getting the majority off the buds, but still had to hand trim a bit.

I went ahead and ordered a standing one, in the future I'll buy a commercial tumbler I dont need to process 1 oz ever 5 seconds right now. Now another note. @Pennywise @Emilya @Kismet @Backlipslide and @bluter. What do you do for curing. My friend said use a large storage bin and place the dried buds in a black trash back and tie it. 1 hour a day burp it and do it for 1 week. But I seen on amazon curing pots but they all seem not to hold very much. Some come with bovedas or a diff brand. But fill me in on what u do and have the best results.

Now, I’ll tell you what I do, doesn’t mean you have to do it, but options are always nice.

I cut the plant into jars. Burp them four times a day for a week. Then I burp them twice a day for a week. Then I burp them once a day for a week. Then I burp them once every second day for a while, then weekly check on them. I barley get past the fourth week, And then I’m in need of some more weed man! :smokin:

What's are grove bags @Ladon ? And @Pennywise in the Turkey bag and 5 bucket but look for a gamma lid. Is a gamma lid automatic or how long do you cure for? And how often do you burp? Oh and penny dont think it's supposed to unless I have my labels wrong but I've been running it cooler even with lights on. Started harvesting and noticed the California dream around each little bud within the nug you can just see a dark purplish tint.

I’m not sure if I can post a link but if you search for ‘grove bags cannabis terploc’ you’ll find them. There bags that keep the humidity at 62% so you just burp the bags for about 4 days, then seal them up for a long term cure.

I put my little 6 inch clip fan just in case. Only harvested 1 plant of 4. Took me hours. So hopefully machine arrives today, says can do Wet or dry. I'll try it wet see how well it does and bought a small 2ft wide 4 level hanging dryer works well wet if not I'll wait until dry hopefully does well with dry. Would love a tumbler trimmer cheapest I found was like 6-700 only does 2lbs wet per hour or 4lb dry. But they were out of stock. My
Gamma lids are water and light proof seal that goes on the bucket then it has a screw on lid. Use black buckets to keep light out.
They expensive? Even tho I wont fill all them I'd need to order 3 bc 3 strains. Oh and i started seening some purple develope on my cali dream since its last week it's a light nute solution and I just keep adding fresh water. But running ac on cool vs auto and started getting some color wish I did earlier with the blue dream but I need a condensation pump I have the hose into 1gal milk just but will be over flowing by time I check it again if ever to run this way or anyway , I'd get one and have it pump back into system, it has a ppm of like 7 because collected evaporated water or basically distilled.

But penny how often do you burp and how long do you cure for ?
