Friut stripe, yes, I remember but not so clearly, Soooooo, was it the Panama 'strawberry' smell I hear about? Cool!

since you asked, I just stuck my finger in a bud and it smells a bit more lemony today.
I've stuck my finger in other things and they smelled a little fishy to me :laugh::rofl::laugh::rofl:

Purple Malawi cut this morning.

Morglie do you cook your soil in those totes? That pretty cool if you do...time for transplant, just go grab a tote full of DBHBB soil off the shelf. :goodjob:

I've been growing in 17 gallon ones. I have a few 27 gallon that I've been using for cooking 2nd and 3rd run. My veg plants sit on them. I can cook 1/3rd of a batch at a time in them.

The totes you see stacked in the lower left corner are 4 of the 17 gallon that are fully cooked and waiting for use. I store them there to elevate my little plants in flower. When I need one, it's ready to go.

I'm actually transitioning to using mostly 5 gallon buckets as those huge totes are tough to get around in my flower room, plus just moving that much weight is not good for my back. I'll probably always be using at least one though. They sure can grow some huge plants!

High all! :)

This is our first post here at 420Magazine. ACE Seeds has recently become a sponsor of this website, so we hope to be more present here in the forums too. We like a lot the vibes around and how well organized is this website.

We want to deeply thank Neiko for starting this thread about ACE genetics and for spreading the good name of our company.

We are excited to see more users growing and enjoying with our genetics.

Greenest regards to everyone! :Namaste: dubi - ACE Seeds -

Hello all ACE seeds fans. Now that ACE is a sponsor I wanted to have a place to show off your ACE plants and possibly coax Dubi from ACE to participate when he can. We don't really have a vendor forum so I was hoping this could act as one. There are a lot of growers here on the Mag that run ACE genetics that would like some guidance or input about some of the strains ACE offers. So go ahead and post pics and questions and let's see if we can make this a go to place for ACE! I'll get it started with my current Thai Chi just flipped.

Welcome to 420, dubi :cough:

What’s the difference between “Ace breeder packs” and their regular seed packs? Is it worth the cost difference?

The breeders pack have several different lines that they keep going if each strain. If you go too their website you can see descriptions of them.

Hi DrDoob,

As Morglie correctly pointed out, in our Breeders Packs we try to offer the widest and best genetic diversity of a strain, by offering different lines correctly labelled separately, based on specific traits or coming from specific parental plants (like some specific terpene profiles, effects, chemotypes, different generations, colorful phenos, etc ...). Breeders Pack are usually focused for growers or breeders who want to explore deeper our lines and that have the chance to select bigger poppulations from different lines of the same strain.

On the other hand, our regular (standard) or feminized releases of a strain don't contain different lines labelled separately in the same pack like in the Breeders Packs., a seed from a regular or feminized pack can display all the most representative phenotypes of a strain.

Anyway, i think our strain descriptions are very accurate and explain in detail what the grower can expect from our genetics.

Nice Neikodog! I, of course, am in! I will contribute a couple Panama by ace pics!

Hi dajerm119,

Beautiful Panama :) really nice yielding pheno with great flower/leaf ratio and short/moderate flowering time for a sativa.
Looks like she suffered some kind of leaf burn in late flowering, probably due to excessive fertilizer or ph imbalance, but guess cannot be corrected much at this point of flowering, anyway looks like they finished product is going to be plentiful and high quality.

Welcome Dubi, I've run a couple of Ace strains and am very happy with the results. I have so many Ace strains to run in the future. Looking forward to your input here at 420.

High and good afternoon.
Big bless up to Neiko for starting this thread.
My contribution:

Ace Zamaldelica

Ace Bubba Kush x Nepal Jamaican

Hi Stage,

Very happy to see you are growing some of our classic strains like Zamaldelica and some of our latest hybrids recently produced and available through the R+D section of our website. Thank you very much for supporting our work, wish you have a great season! ;)

I'm in :) Nothing to contribute as of yet but will be watching and sure
I will have some questions as soon as I Drop the GUAWI in 2 days (New Moon)

Thanks for starting this thread, I am sure it will be very informative

Hi Gazoo,

Glad you had the chance to get some Guawi fem seeds before this limited edition has been recently sold out! ;)
It's a very solid sativa hybrid, vigorous, high yielding, with a very strong and long lasting effect from the Malawi side, and with very complex terpenes thanks to the Tikal influence.

Please, feel free to ask any question you could have during the growth of our genetics. Best regards!

Ace Panama green pheno from 2016 grow. Flower day 58. Her scent always reminded me of bowling alley wax. Don't know why....could be wrong about the smell. High was and is still very good.

Hi MagicJim,

Looks like Panama behaved well in your indoor setup, nice sativa yield.
I would never think of 'bowling alley wax ' to describe Panama's terpene profiles but as you well know, different persons may appreciate same terpenes in different ways.... glad you are still enjoying with her effects! :goodjob:

Hmm I word about landrace sativas and pure sativa crosses... You can tame them, you just need to know how. From my experience fighting against their stretch is futile, but if you let them grown naturally, you're gonna get something like that.

And in limited space, so indoor or outdoor in a pot, you wanna a small plant, that can be handled easily. So basically you want something like that.

And to get a nice, tiny sativa you need to work on a right photoperiod: 11/13 after 13/11, and train her from the beginning! Topping or fimming won't work, you'll just get two or more towers instead of one. But extreme LST works very well with these plants, cause you don't fight the stretch, but you're using it to your advantage.

And it only takes getting her to grow horizontally. Once she's levelled, all the lateral branches will start growing upwards, but cause the energy is distributed sideways, now you're gonna get a crown of tops, which are easily kept in check and can be topped or fimmed if necessary :thumb:

Just my 5 cents about someone's question above :smokin2:
