Ace Panama, Groot, In High Brix

I didn't have sweat on my 1st cob either and it turned out nice and gold. You should have noticed a change in the smell though. Describe the smell to us compared to the flower.
Well Neikodog, I am terrible at that kinda thing but will try.
Lets see, the flower still has a musky lemon like incense smell to it. Really like the smell of those...
The Cob smelled darker... that make sense? Light it had a deeper mustier smell... couldn't pick the lemon sense out in the cob... was just really strong. Showed it to my wife, she way all "whoa man" when she caught a whiff

Sorry, best I can do for now...

Perfect! You will have a nice golden cob. Those are special.

Awesome! Thanks guys, much appreciated... its now sitting at 26.6c and will be for around a week or so before I check it again. I will of course keep an eye out for any mold!

I'll advise to check it every day. I have just to make sure i know the color is changing in the right way. Also depending on your cob density it may take shorter/longer to ferment. All in the learning curve us newbies are going through :thumb:

Looking good 119, you will be fine. If its sealed in a vac bag you should not have any mold issues. I have not had any yet on any thing. Looking forward to your report on it after sample.

The only thing I have seen anyone mention that would be cause for worry about mold would be if any of the seals break on the bags. I saw one or two people mentioning their seal becoming compromised, so maybe just check it daily to make sure it is still sealed properly.
Will do, honestly I can’t not check on it daily... I’m obsessive like that:rolleyes:
Thanks for the tip! I sure don’t wanna waste an Oz of Panama!

Well gang, it seems all new growth on 2.0 is three bladed... idk what the hell is going on with that. I did notice, and may have mentioned, she was throwing 3 bladed while still in veg. Starting to think I should have waited a week or so before flipping. Also doing something weird with a few of the top leaves...

Now I did notice she was doing that wavy thing with the leaves just before transplant... but it is worse now.

Not saying this is the case, but I did have another seed from another bank that was supposed to be a photo and threw 3 bladed leaves and looked wonky turned out to be an auto.
Yea she’s acting weird for sure... this is the clone from the Panama I just ran. So can’t be an auto... I’m thinking she should have had a 18/6 schedule instead of the 16/8. Might have held off The pistils. Idk but this isn’t a great start... was hoping to not have problems this round.

Hey Daj! Sucks bud, I'm sorry to hear it. I wish I could provide some advice and am sure some of the vets will chime in. Have you checked the timer to make sure the tabs aren't set to go on or off when they're not supposed to? Was your lights on time in veg the same as in bloom? I know it would set things back quite a bit but maybe you could set lights on 24/0 until the new growth is back to normal then flip again....? My COGS that I'm chopping on Sunday has had the 3 bladed leaves the whole time and while I will get an ok harvest, it pales in comparison to what their mother yielded.
