Ace Panama, Groot, In High Brix

Ok gang, got an update for ya. I will start with her last two feedings and then some pics!

7/01/18:
Groot received GI drench (10ml+Tea 1ml) in 1.5gal water

7/5/18:
Groot received Water 1.5gal
Also sprayed with a bit of Leaf Wash, giving her a break from the brix.

I did use leaf wash during bloom on one non HB grow, just before I moved over to Docs kit. I had mites and it didn't seem to mess with the trichs then and I was spraying it heavy. Here I sprayed as I would Brix, but also made sure to get the tops of the leaves hoping to make my sickly looking plant look a bit better... didn't work but thats ok. I really would be pretty happy with how she looks IF it was an 8 week strain... but shell need the full 12. So hopefully I can keep enough leaves going to keep her running strong to the end.

And now pics:

Panama Groot 2.0 is starting to fill out a bit, she seems happy.

Thanks for looking!

Edit: Forgot to mention, I have noticed a few fan leaves yellowing and dying off. But they are pretty low in the canopy, any thoughts on that would be appreciated.

She's still motoring along. Looking good too. I know exactly what you're talking about as my panama(+) looks almost identical and is at 8.5 weeks. The buds seem to be still growing, getting bigger and fatter, and pistils still white and pointy. She's finally starting to show some decent trich growth too and has a pleasant terpene profile starting to develop.

She's got some fucked up leaves too, but the overall plant is still vigorous. I've got a few yellow-curlies as well as the occasional lower fan getting necrotic. Some dangle a day or two before I dig back there and pluck it. I'm still excited to see how it finishes and I too am thinking mine will go 12...easy.

Well shit Gov, sounds like we almost have twins goin! Thats pretty cool... Mine is doing the same, buds still getting fatter still have white pointy pistils... if I can manage to keep some leaves on her I guess she'll maybe finish up around 12 weeks. I am pretty excited... I wanna smoke on some of that sativa deliciousness... gonna be good!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing how yours is going, gives me some comfort knowing that mine isn't the only one burning up a bit.... though I am sure you're being modest about your burnt leaves. I bet yours looks considerably better than mine, and I would love to see it if you wanna share!

Looking great daj! It looks like each cola is gonna be the better part of an ounce!

:high-five:

Hey there Ween! Man... I dont know about that, but that would be a great pull! Groot seems to really like to develop this big fat tops, and the lower buds are getting bigger but nothing like those tops! I think maybe if I had a larger tent I could have spread her out a bit more to get deeper penetration. But to be honest I wasn't really worried about it because Noels buds come out so dense it was ridiculous. But these still have weeks to go... so could still get much better. Not sure if I will be able to get any purple outa Groot... but I sure hope so!
Thanks for stopping by Ween!

On sativas it's not uncommon for them to chew through their leaves starting at the bottom. I wouldn't worry about the lower leaves yellowing a bit.

Sweet, Thank you Morglie! Thats great to know, I will stop worrying about it then. Thanks for coming to look!

Groot's doing fine. Like Morglie said they will eat some fans. The buds are what we are after and yours are looking top notch. You will be very happy with the end result. Your doing great!
Thanks neikodog! Yes, I think I’ll be very happy wirh this produce. There should be plenty of it too!! Thank you for stopping by!

Have you all noticed that with the foliar feeding that the lower fans don't get used up as fast?
Hey there Meds! I haven’t noticed that yet, probably because I haven’t run this strain before. But I’d imagine the foliars could help with that and for all I know that are. I’ve only lost around 6 or so, not a big deal just an observation. I was thinking the canopy may be too thick, but seeing as I’ve burnt up some leaves I don’t really wanna remove any to increase penetration. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Dajerm

Groots buds are looking nice and huge. Looks like it will be an easy trim
Hey there DL, thanks man! Groot is doing pretty good but her predecessor 2.0 will hopefully keep her pretty leaves a bit longer. On the trim... should be really easy, pluck those fans off and the rest will be a breeze!
Thanks for stopping by!

Well awesome, as long as they dont make me too paranoid im good! Sativas tend to do that to me if I smoke a bit too much, just gotta watch out is all. Thanks Neiko!
Dosing is key. They tend to creep which messes a lot of people up and they over indulge. I tend to take 2 good bong rips on a new strain and wait about 20 minutes before hitting it again. When you feel good, stop, more doesn't make it better it just increases the chances of anxiety and paranoia. Some people love that rush and raciness and seek it out. Others like the mood enhancement, creativity and functionality. Just start slow, you can always take more. The more experience you get smoking sativas the more you'll be willing to push the boundaries and explore the deepest parts of you mind.
