A Video Journal With Pigeons420 - 2016

Another great video Pigeons. Keep em coming!! I'm thinking of making my closet the veg room similar to yours. Do you have any problems with odor from that particular room? I'm wondering if I can get away with using a carbon scrubber just for the flower tent.

I wouldn't call it a "problem", Hydro. But if you're keen enough you can identify a smell of some kind. Particularly after a water or a training session they'll give off that distinctive green-like smell to it.
I'm legal so, It's not unusual to have people in my basement like friends, family or technicians and they wouldn't have a clue that I've got 40 plants behind a closet door. Except perhaps the ominous glow that peaks from the corners

I think you'll be able to get away without a filter in your veg room but if you wanna keep perfectly stealthy maybe it's something to look at?

Hope that helps!

Another great video! :-) I always enjoy your videos. Thank you for showing off your amazing garden. The Jackelope is pretty tall and thin isn't it? Maybe try some experiments with fim on those sativa blends. Ten years ago All of my sativa blends would finish 4-6 feet tall then I started changing them to flat with heavy fim.
Such healthily looking young plants though. As for the light burn question: it looks like yours are equally burned all around the cola? Or is it just on one side? You said they were a couple feet away from the light off to the side, if that is the case they should only be burnt on one side if it was because of the light. Not sure though, not much experience with soil grows. Either way looks very good to me :-)

OG you're so flattering, stop it. No actually keep going, it feels great

Maybe it's not a heat issue? I don't know. You guys no my track record for troubleshooting plants. If in doubt, hash bag it out!

Maybe it's an over dose? I did have her under the light directly and not to the side at one point and I moved her to the side because I didn't want her to get burnt. So I don't know.

Either way, there's lots of beauty in there to silence her :) I'll just keep surrounding her with other plants

:high-five: thanks for popping in big guy!!

Thanks Pigeons. I appreciate it. :thumb:

Aside from seeing you on other journals I'm subscribed to, your name caught my eye. I used help take care of my father-in-law's racing pigeons. I used to hate going out there to feed and water them. But after he died, every time I saw a pigeon, I would think of him. He was a great man. I know it's kind of weird, but thanks for that.

Thank you for that Noob! That's really sweet. That's a sentiment I'll hold close to my heart.

They're a beautiful creature and incredibly intelligent. I'm sure this is something they had in common with your old man.

Thanks for sharing Noob

Well bears got mostly death and males so you are my star grower still ;-)
Keep up the great work. As for the fim, it is a great technique but perhaps save it until after you pick best pheno? Otherwise the one you fim the most will always look the best.

Yea I tend to find the males do look the best. Damn males.

Thanks Noob!!

Gosh, I really enjoy your videos Pigeons. :hugs:  Such variety, and I'm so impressed with what you're doing with Ottawa Green's strains. I know OG gets a special kick out of it. :high-five:

It's such great fun hitting my bong as you hit yours. :laughtwo: That trademark 'smoke in your face' makes me laugh every time. LOL!
