A few things to include in the video. How to evaluate ur sample. Color..smell..taste..ash color....best way to smoke and quick dry ur sample. What does it look like and sound like wet vs dry.
How often to sample


So much to learn...so many journals to follow.

This has been a 2 year process (since the moment we first asked). And relented and offered to sell in January. So, we've been doing this for a long time! We're ready to buy it already! :rofl::lot-o-toke:

All caught up on my videos that I missed while I was gone. I watched the 6 strain video in the airport last night and I laughed so hard when you let out that "Hooooooooooo" from your first hit. The whole section I was in turned and looked at me. I did have my headphones in though. My wife said it was hilarious.
I'm so happy you are finding more and more success. Couldn't happen to a better guy.

Congrats on the house. There's nothing like the feeling of owning your own land and home.

Another great video man! Hey, I posted a new grow journal. I received a new LEC 630 and have never grown with it before, it's kicking butt so far, I had to shorten my veg cycle.

Question....took a sample yesterday and it was great.....I uses a wax warmer...new of course to dry it....took about 2 hrs.

Some ash was white but there was some black.....this means I need to stop feeding and just stright water for now on?

It is a candy kush 61 days from sprout

So much to learn...so many journals to follow.
 
If you're convinced she's just about finished than I would recommend giving her a good flush. You typically flush the last 2 weeks of flower.

Thanks for the video! I have a question about the ash part..... I vape and the ash is dark brown, almost black. Does this mean my plant wasn't flushed correctly? Does the color of the vaped ash tell me anything else I need to know for future harvests?

I totally get the part about taking the bud off the plant to look through the microscope -- after being totally frustrated, to the point of angry, while looking at the bud still attached to the plant.

I'm not a vaping man myself but correct me if I'm wrong but the brown coloured material isn't ash but capes material. It's not burnt so I don't think you can tell from the vaped material how well it's been flushed. I'd assume it comes down to the taste and how smooth it is through the vape.

Not sure either! I save the ABV (already been vaped) for edibles. It sure smells great!

Hey Pigeons...how's all bud! hey Willy's , when Cannabis burns , like in a joint or bong or whatever , the desired ash should be minimal, light grey in color with no black residue. The more it's not...the more things are still in the flowers at harvest. So you can just imagine how bad it could get. not too long ago ...before i was HB, i ran out and had to rely on a crappy source for a while.i'l never forget trying to keep a joint lit of this stuff...it was sparking and popping all over the place...and that was not from a seed or two being in there. It was from an excess of fertilizer still in the flowers.very bad stuff. When vaping weed, it leaves a light brown to dark brown on the weed, the darker it looks , the hotter temp it was vaped at. Some people recycle their vaped mat'l . and cook with it. I don't. generally speaking, if when your smoking a joint of very well grown , dried and cured Cannabis, it should smoke very smooth , with a light grey ash...if ya see this , your golden! cheers Willy's and Pigeons...and all the gang too!
