A Twisted Tale of Banana Jealousy: Raw & Unpeeled (Papa OG's Version)

I've never seen sexier bananas! The aroma is intoxicating. Stacking up beautifully. It's been an easy ride. Thick nuggets. Layers of trichomes. I removed some insignificant lower foliage, allowing them to breath a bit better. They have slowed just a bit on the amount of water. They were still watered the full amount, but had a bit of weight in the bottom of the pot. Time to start getting the harvest plan ready!

Thank you @SeedsMan and @420

Let's get it going!

Just a few pictures. We have had a deficiency pop up. It looks like it's only happening directly with banana Jealously, as I'm also growing Purple Ghost Candy. It started with the normal discoloration you would normally see this late in flower. But over the last few days, it's definitely progressing. The plants closest, are banana Jealously, while the back row is Purple Ghost Candy. I will shoot more detailed Photos over the next few days.

I think I overlooked a phosphorus deficiency, went downhill fast! RQS has a nice writeup about it
Phosphorus Deficiency

This literally happened over 5-6 days. You can see in the prior update the plants were 💚 Green!

I will bump it up on the next feeding, but it might be a bit late for these ladies! Hopefully they will skate on thru!

I hope they make it Papa OG 🍋
We've got this! Wouldnt be the first weird ass harvest I've had. I think I'm gonna raise the calmag another 25%, and the same with the TPS bloom bump it up 25%.

After going thru my notes, this was the first week the feed chart had me cut back 25% on the Bloom. So hopefully tomorrow I will do a nice heavy watering and feed. Might even jump in and foliar spray them ladies. Anything to get them back on track.

I've seen a few members showing the same discoloration. So these Bananas want more phosphorus, I believe.

Getting those purps!!!

Things are heating up! We've been blessed with some beautiful hot weather. It's been a challenge to keep them comfortable. But we've kept them under 83F. Spotted some deficiency issues this week.

Definitely think cutting the bloom back per feed schedule last week, turned a minor phosphorus issue. Into a bit of a larger issue. But have no worries. We will steer this banana boat clear of any obstructions. Today I bumped the bloom back to the previous week feed amount, kept all of the other nutrients on schedule. The ladies were all fondled, defoliated, checked for pest, and photo shoot!

They're drinking a bit less. Not substantial. But noticable. The frost is amazing. The smell is out of this world!

Straight FIRE 🔥 🔥

Way to bring em home. Looks a lot like mine but, canna was a bit more sensitive to the nitrogen… great job man, I can’t wait to try some of this frosty goodness!

Happy fourth of July y'all

May you be blessed with lots of rest, BBQ, sweet tea and green weed!

Coming down the home stretch! These ladies are huge! I was able to get them moved for a shoot! Luckily there were no issues! They needed a bit of love. Some leaf plucking, and some branch support. The colas are extremely thick and heavy! The drinking had slowed down drastically, but still sucking it down. Daily temps have been 100-110°f. I have ran the ac on blast 24/7 for weeks now just to keep them comfortable. 83-85°F in tent with light on. Not perfect, but it's the best I could do. Hopefully I can start checking trichomes next week!

🤞Fingers crossed🤞

Thank you! It's so hard to choose photos. I probably drop 100 photos each plant, each shoot. I make the wife pick now. The smell is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G
Man it’s crazy isn’t it! There was a point in my life that I was going through 10-15rolls of 35 and 4 or 5 120 mm in one shoot / outing and then developing all of it myself!!! That was a lifetime ago. Love the point and shoot of my iPhone :) unfortunately I don’t put that much time into it anymore.

Your pics are great and it shows that you put the effort that you do into it!

I miss my old film cameras. I wouldn't even know what to do if I had to process this amount of film. Digital has made things easier, but the quality is in them old cameras. My phone doesn't take very good pictures. Ive tried. For a smart phone she sure is stupid most of the time! I just enjoy taking the pictures. Calms me!:meditate:
