Amazin info on the PAR for Mars.
They advertise it as covering 4x4 area at 24''. This essentially means you would need to stack them every 2 feet to ensure ~500 everywhere thus significantly raising the cost compared to advertised.

Are you planning to post it on the Mars thread?

So if these numbers are right, the Mars II 1200 at 18 inches is only slightly better than a 600w HPS, at 24 inches, for covering a 2'x2' area?

This should confirm that more smaller LEDs are better than giant ones. Now I just need someone to par test these cheap 140w LEDs. Or as I'll now refer to them as "single plant leds" :thumb:

Omgah! If you like edibles, one wouldnt even need to cook that flower..it looks good enough to eat, as is!
