A Small Tribute to a Big Irish Doode

Here's the rest of the grow :) I rearranged the plants for even light distribution:

I have to hold off on making the compost tea; the soil is still damp. I'll start it tomorrow so that it's ready in two days. They look pretty good; each strain showing only slightly different in the leaves as far as needing food goes. The two GDP S1s show it moderately (I think):

I think this smaller Purple Maroc shows a need for P more than the rest (thin, twisted, and light colored new growth):

The other topped Purple Maroc looks okay, probably because of the pheno difference (taller, skinnier, and less leafy plants don't need as much food in my experience):

And so far my favorite, HSO's Blue Dream (showing a slight need for P):

The only one I'm sticking to giving a 1/2 nute dose to is that Haze looking Purple #1; I could probably coast to the end with no food at all if I would have used Roots Organics soil.

Here's a list of ingredients for the next cauldron of poop soup (started at 12:00 noon today)-

4 gallons RO water
1-1/2 cup worm castings
1-1/2 cup organic compost
3/4 cup processed chicken manure 5-3-2
4 Tbsp. Superswell 0-7-0
4 tsp. kelp meal
4 tsp. unsulfured molasses

I watered in today with 1/2 gallon of RO water, 2 tsp. of AN's F1, 1 tsp. of AN's H2, 1 tsp. CaMg+, and 4 ml. micronutrients. It was just enough to keep them from wilting until the feeding tomorrow; they were too dry this morning. Post more pics soon..... :)

I fed the plants that compost/manure aerated tea this morning, with the exception of the 2 Purple #1s. I had about 1 gallon of the tea after I strained it and used it on the rest of the plants (about 1-1/2 gallons went to the other 5 plants), so I diluted it with another gallon of RO water. Then I put another teaspoon of unsulfured molasses in and put the wet compost/manure mix back in the bucket to bubble more until later. The 2 Purple #1s are running on the opposite light cycle (nights), so I'll have to wait until later to feed them. I'll get pics up soon; they look okay so far.

Grower's decision time. The Blue Dream on the right has gotten too tall :) The one behind it, the tall Purple Maroc, has too:

0061489.JPG

The Blue Dream looks too good to keep under a 400 watt lamp anyway. I'm putting the shorter Purple #1 back in here, and putting this BD under the 600 watt lamp where it belongs:

0071396.JPG

And since this Purple Maroc is short flowering, why not add to the weight a little by putting it under the 600 watt lamp too?

This other Purple Maroc can stay in here:

One of the GDP S1s:

The other GDP S1 (in the larger smart pot):

Two plants will have to be transferred from each tent, so another plant will be going in here also; a topped OG Raskal White S1 about 3 weeks into flower. Post pics of the other two plants soon.

Switching those plants helped, but now the GDP S1 in the 3 gallon smart pot is doing the same thing; growing too tall  It's on the right in this full closet pic. In the middle is the other GDP S1 in front of a White S1 plant (I'm going to defol that to give the lower buds of the plants on both sides of it more light exposure; it has about 5 weeks to chop), and on the left is the shorter Purple #1 in front of the shorter Purple Maroc:

Get your sunglasses on! ;) Shorter GDP S1:

I am seriously at the point of flipping a coin to decide the fate of the second Purple #1; I swear it looks pure Haze and it's already outgrowing the tall tent I bought. The top is even with the middle of the bulb and to the side; and it's scrawny too :( I'll take a pic tonight. That tall GDP would fit in that spot nicely, though..... :hmmmm:

Well nature decided for me
Here's a few pics of the now culled taller Purple #1:

It's not a good pic, but now that there's more room in the unit this one will show up better. Here's parts of the topped taller Purple Maroc:

Here's the Blue Dream:

0021998.JPG

That puts this grow at 6 plants. I'm kind of glad, because the size of that one was getting a bit much.

Here are most of the plants at 3 weeks of 12/12 today :)

0031921.JPG

This GDP S1 wilted a little when I watered it for some reason:

0041797.JPG

The other GDP S1 farther away from the light is looking okay (can't tell by my crappy pic though):

Other Purple Maroc, not purple yet:

0061494.JPG

This purple #1 is looking stellar..... (insert BID headbang smiley here):

0071401.JPG

:) I'll get pics of the others up soon.

There's no doubt in my mind that this Purple #1's gonna purp up big time :)

Still not seeing a trace of purple on this Purple Maroc (or the other):

0012016.JPG

As soon as I chop a Free Tibet clone (4 weeks; earlier if it hermies like the one before it), I'll put this GDP in under the 600 watt:

With that White S1 getting the chop soon afterwards, this unit will have room. You know the chimp's gonna fill it up, though..... ;)

Notes - Compost/manure tea started at 10:00 A.M. today:

2 gallons of RO water
1 Tbsp. of unsulfered molasses
1 cup of Alaskan forest humus
1 cup of organic compost
1 cup of earthworm castings
1 cup of mushroom compost
1 cup of processed chicken manure 5-3-2
1 Tbsp. of kelp meal 1-0-2
4 Tbsp. of Superswell 0-7-0

I'll add 4 tsp. of CaMg+ when it's done activating tomorrow. I'm going like this for now:

1st watering - tea recipe above
2nd watering (per 1 gallon RO water) - 4 tsp. hydrolyzed fish fertilizer 2-4-0, 4 ml. of micronutrients, 1 tsp. of CaMg+, 4 tsp. of AN's F1, and 2 tsp. of AN's H2
3rd watering - same as 2nd watering minus the hydrolyzed fish fertilizer.

Note: 4 of the 6 remaining plants in this grow were fed this morning. They seem to be staying healthy, but things are getting close to the point (halfway through flower) where my grows go bad, so I better be watchful. Of the 2 I didn't feed yet, the Blue Dream is getting tall but I think the stretch is over. It should avoid light bleaching where it's at. The Purple Maroc is flowering out and is staying healthy too. I'll get pics of them up later when the lights come on and I feed them.

Thanks SmokeyMcFly I gave them the works tonight (the Blue Dream and the topped Purple Maroc, anyway; I'll get the other 4 tomorrow):

1 gallon of RO water
2 scoops (1 Tbsp?) of Dr. Earth's Metabolic Transformer (mycos)
4 tsp. of hydrolyzed fish fertilizer
4 tsp. of AN's F1
2 tsp. of AN's H2
4 ml. of micronutrients
1-1/2 tsp. of CaMg+

The Purple Maroc is showing nice frost. I tried to get the colors to show in the second pic, but couldn't do it (some dark purple is coming out in the middle buds):

0091152.JPG

013751.JPG

I just can't get a decent pic of this Blue Dream, but it's just as good; as healthy as it looks, impressive it isn't (at least to me):

011903.JPG

It's in the back left in this group pic (the Purple Maroc is the front right plant):

0081295.JPG

That's gonna be all the mycos I give to the Purple Marocs, but the BD, Purple #1, and both GDP S1s will get it once more.

After the same feeding, here's the others. Flowers on the larger GDP S1:

Here's where my grows start heading South better strap that helmet on, BID :green_heart:
