So excited to have the jeep back and with my tuning system and tablet. Only downside is I had to make her a little more registration friendly on the exhaust. Should still be high flow but it doesn't sound like the v8 I love. For the summer cruises, I'm looking forward to my Honda s2000. I still need to import and register that one though. Here is the new registration friendly exhaust

It's like Christmas over here. I received the tent a few days ago and did a quick test assembly. I am very pleased with the tent.

Today, I received the light from @Budget LED The light is exactly what I wanted. Very sleek, obviously powerful and their customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend them as I have seen many great grows already I know it will check that box as well.

I also received the exhaust fan, ducting, and carbon filter. I've ran the fan before and love it so we'll see if the carbon filter keeps the wife happy. Can't wait for April 1!

Right on! Gotta love mail days, I'm waiting for a few things myself to start up a couple buckets, the seeds are in rockwool now. They are running but needed bigger stones and pump.

The light looks decent, I haven't stumbled into many grows yet with that brand. Seems bright. Could you get a pic at some point of what it looks like inside the tent so we can see how bright it really is? I'd muchly appreciate it. I've been looking for some supplemental lighting.

Can't wait to see you get things rolling

I definitely need to follow you to learn starting in rockwool. I have only done soil so far. As far as the light, I will definitely have pics up April 1 with tent set up. Unfortunately, we are in a temporary apartment so I am keeping most of the set up stowed until move in. I do know a lot of people on here who do run it. @HashFart just got his demon board from @Budget LED.

I'll do some research to try and get you a reference pic on that but worst case scenario April 1 I will have pics and video of it installed
 
Alright no problem man, I won't be purchasing one anytime soon so it's no problem to wait. I'm just going to pick up another cheap ballast for now to run a 3rd 600w, I got an extra module and reflector.

Lol you are more than welcome to come follow along in my journal and chat away but I'm not sure how much you'll learn from me :rofl: I've always been a promix guy, tried hempy buckets too with ok results. But as for starting in rockwool I've done it before but I prefer jiffy peat pods or right into the dirt. Only reason I have 2 in rockwool is for the upcoming dwc in my journal, also a first time thing. Biggest partially is making sure to soak your plugs in ph'd water or nutrient mix before using them. And don't squeeze them, they are designed to retain about 18% air even when soaked, if you squeeze them you ruin that capability.

I can't get pictures of the light on full power its to bright but I've got a few grows under my belt with the series 3 red spec , I even ran a strain without it then with it ,I'm not a sponsored person but I am a tri ticket mechanic and the lights from budget are built very well for the price ,,,,, I don't want to spam modest journal but here is some pics of what she can do for a guy ,,, I was so happy with the light i ordered a demon board from them

Thanks so much for the quick peek, they do look pretty bright and you say they aren't even turned up all the way. I may have to try one out for my next led panel. I have a really decent blurple panel here that I wanted to hang with my hid lights but it started to crap out. I think I know where to go next now lol

Yeah the only reason I'm trying it out is because it's not summer yet and I'm going to be home most of time when I'm not working. I've had the stuff to do it for a couple years and never tried, so here we go lol I'm going to see if they catch up to the others that are 2 weeks old now, maybe 3 by time they're sprouted
 
Yep, I'm hoping I can do it with this new all in one nutrient I'm trying out. If it works as well as it's supposed to, then it would mean I wouldn't need to change out the res nearly as often if at all. It's the same bottle and same dose the whole grow, so just top up with nute mix from what I gather
 
Thanks everyone for stopping by! I am excited to learn from everyone's journal. I am hoping to have this set up be fairly automated for a decent amount of time. @HashFart before I moved I was building an automated watering system with horseshoes for my soil pots. I gave those to someone and am going to talk them through the set up in the summer time. I'll keep you posted.
 
I'm also checking out those lights right now, are those actually budget prices? The bigger boards like that demon have quite the price tag on them. Great coverage, but 4 digits is a lot too

The one I got was for a 2x4 tent and I used the 420 promo code. But my invoice kn USD is $318.89. The other sponsor I would recommend if you are in the US is @Mars Hydro I used their ts2000 or whatever and view the 2 as comparable with mars being a cheaper option. I'm excited to see if there is a difference in quality as far as buds go.
