A Good Old Fashioned RedHotChiliPepper Grow Off

Hey Newty and friends! It's about 7 or 8 weeks before last frost date here so time to fire up some peppers! Looks like I need to purchase some new hot peppers but for now we will start 3 others....
Carmen and Tomcat I grew before in 5 gallon buckets, and the Carmen especially was excellent. I'll pick up some jalapenos and cayenne in the next couple of days!

Since you all are into gardening too here's this year's lineup.. Peppers of course, a beefsteak and a cherry tomato, snap peas and regular eating peas, brocolli, cauliflower, turnip, parsnip, 2 kinds of carrots, romaine and iceberg lettuce, yellow and green beans, yellow and red onions, beets, cukes, corn. Hmm probably forgetting something. We also do a shared 50ft row of potatoes with my parents who live nearby. Also have 4 highbush blueberry plants and a 500sq ft raspberry patch. Hoping to get some strawberry plants in this year too as some old unproductive ones were tilled in last fall. Sure hope there is more rain than last summer, it was brutal!

Sup P ... Now that is the type of garden that my friends and I are doing... In my neck of the woods we do more community gardens, in that I have a few friends that grow carrots, and Bell Peppers well so they do alot of that, another friend who does the blueberries ( which are starting to kinda bud so I hear) I do hot peppers and lots of heirlooms for salsas and sauces, organic multicolor for my friends who are from the mediteranian area, WEED, sorry kinda excited especially about that, lol, and so on and so on... share the work and rewards... We always end up with way more than we can freeze or can so we donate several tons of produce to local food pantries and homeless shelters... Needless to say, we cover the veggies, I am so fortunate to have friends, and some of my family, around me... I is so fun to live and give, makes me complete... Feel free to excel friend, that way you are never disappointed.. or so im told... We kinda free spirited on this thread so have fun with it and by all means give and get everything around here.... Green Days

I am really hopeful my mint plant comes back after the winter snows have left, ive heard herbs and such are quite resilient?

I will be getting some more stuff planted this week so pics are coming! All peppers are up! No flowers yet but lots of peppers. LOL

I think a lot of the mint varieties are pretty tough. Is it in the ground? Mulched? If so you're probably going to have mint!

Stopped by the store and picked up a few more goodies this afternoon.. Why can't cannabis seeds be the price of veggie seeds!!! So I added the two more peppers to the tray and will start some other stuff in 2-3 weeks..

They are under the humidity dome in a nice warm room. Now we wait.
