A Closet A Light & A Bucket Of Dirt

I believe that it was SweetSue who said that the poet rises
a couple of pages back. He sneaks in before I know it sometimes
and I find myself lost in writing before I even realize it.

There are parts of me that I cannot stand.
Cold and distant. Numb and bland.
They are the man that is cast adrift.
They haunt the man without the gift.

I write this to my darker host.
This would be your little ghost.
Remember that I'm still a part of you.
Remember that I'm always here too.

When the darkness starts its relentless tide.
You will just have to let the soul ride.
Just remember this Broken Man.
You are not the one with the plan.

I know you feel lost and confused.
I know that you are not amused.
You are going to have to take the pain.
Because we have so much to gain.

The days of light will soon begin.
That is when I will return again.
Here is an echo for you to see.
This would be an echo of me.

He does ramble from time to time, but I will need to see this one soon.

Sage the La S.A.G.E. enjoys her 63rd day of flower. She is not showing
quite as much amber as I would like, but the plant is about done.
I probably could have fed her one more time, but I think she is close enough.
Tomorrow shall be the chop.

Day 29 of veg for Rita the Rose and I pretty much took a hack saw to her. Lol.
I will let her recover for a few days to see where we are at.

A little upskirt. Rita is shy.

Had to do a little earth moving to find this one. She has herself tied in knots
but appears to be working it out now. I guess she likes twister.

Say hello to Mandy the Sugar Candy. :cheertwo:

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers.

Excited for the update on that Sage! You gonna get around to an update today? :D

Happy new year Ditchweed, hope it's a good one for you mate..

Sage, no clone? Looks like she might go a fair bit longer for the flowers your looking for.. you'll see more pistils popping and another 3weeks plus by looks.. looks like you've timed this harvest perfect for her though.. I don't know her make up but might be one of those with multiple harvest windows...

Thanks Grizz. She probably could go a bit longer but I have been flushing
her for a couple of weeks now. She has a bit of amber running through her
I have just failed to capture them very well.

One of the things that I want to do this year is set myself up so that I can take
some clones and keep the ones I want going. Baby steps. Lol.

Cheers friend.

Been just busy doing a bit of everything today.
Harvesting, writing, cooking, etc etc. Lol.

The poet has been out lately so of course he has been busy.

Mood swings are tortuously bitter sweet.
I go so far down. Darkness all around.
But the light holds it glorious heat.
What would I do without the live wire?
Who would I be if my mind never went afire?

There are days like today you see.
The darkness lifts and the fog clears.
The words pour forth and I just feel like me.
Sometimes I can just dismiss the fears.
Sometimes I can just write through the tears.

Days where this scarred soul actually flies.
Rolling through the glorious highs.
I can write my poems. I can write my books.
The music suddenly starts to mesmerize.
I'm so in love with the way the world looks.

So here is to at least one good day.
Even though it is not here to stay.
The elevator runs to the penthouse floor.
And for a moment I will be this way.
I am in the clouds. Feel me soar.

I do enjoy it when the writing is easy. A nice change of pace you could say.

I suppose it is time to turn the page on our little Sage.
While harvesting she still smelled of cinnamon and fuel but add
a little squeezed lemon in there. Very nice.

She was pretty easy to trim and sticky as hell.

I never weigh the stuff. I just smoke it. Lol.
Not a bad haul for a 2 foot tall plant. Sage did alright.

The table is actually a giant tree stump. It has been with me for a long time.
And as it weighs about 500 pounds it will be with me for a long time to come. Lol.

Cheers NS. Happy New Year!

Again, awesome job .

Well done Ditch. A classy way to close out one year and welcome in the next. She was stunning on her way out.

I delight in the murderous tone of your harvests. :laughtwo:

Reps for bringing such a pretty girl home. If I haven't said so before, love that drying rack. That's some fine repurposing. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Happy New Year. :hugs:

Thanks Sue. Happy New Year to you too.

The screen door did not work out very well on the submarine, so I thought maybe a
drying rack for weed would be better. Lol. No idea where that came from.

Happy New Year Ditch!...:high-five:,,,cheerz...h00k...:Hookah:

Happy New Year doc!

Welcome to 2018!

Now that we got that out of the way. :)
It is freaking cold here. -12 degrees Fahrenheit when I woke up this morning.
Cold stark beauty.

Rita the Sugar Black Rose is on day 32 of veg. Complete bush again.
Lots of bud sites happening though.

Not sure when to flip this one. She is only about 8 inches tall but she is getting
pretty big around. A lot of ass you could say.

We will see where she is at in a few days. I think she is due some vertical growth. Lol.

Here is Rita the Winter Rose and Mandy the Sugar Candy together.
Mandy is on day 4 of life.

I smoked a little of Sage the La S.A.G.E. that dried pretty quickly on an amplifier.
Nice smoke so far. Taste is rough as you would expect, but the buzz is nice.
A real face melter if you go too far. Lol.

It is an uptempo aware kind of high, but strong enough that I would not call it a "daytime" buzz.
I think that I am really going to like it when it cures.
