I mentioned in an earlier post that Sage the La S.A.G.E. did
not have a lot of room. Here is her suite. Lol.

Cheers. all.

I guess the only way to get to know a community is to jump right in.
So here goes.

Been growing off and on for around 30 years. Mostly outdoor growing.
I recently lost the luxury of growing outdoors so in the closet I went.

The Closet:
The "tent" is two Mylar emergency blankets hanging on, you guessed it, hangers in the closet.
The blankets are about two dollars each and can be picked up many places.

The Light:
Bought from one of the site sponsors, it is a DIY kit from Timber Grow Lights.
250 Watt Cree CXB3590. Five COBs.
The frame was built using twelve dollars worth of angled aluminum.

The Bucket of Dirt:
Current grow is all recycled dirt from previous grows, outside potted plants, coffee grounds the occasional banana peel etc etc.
The next grow I will use Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Been cold and rainy here and I'm not feeling the need to play in the mud.
Besides, I have a bag of it.

The Nutes:
Two Tablespoons Every Other Watering. Buds by Burpee. Lol.

nutes213.jpg

Three or Four Times During Flower - One Teaspoon Per Gallon - 1/3 Strength

nutes113.jpg

I will use fish emulsion during veg if needed. I just don't have any to show you right now.
It is cheap and works really well. It also smells really bad.

Temperature and Humidity:
I like it about 71 degrees Fahrenheit (21.6 Celsius) and about 50 percent humidity.
I get too hot otherwise and I don't like the air too dry.

My current lady is an Incredible Bulk from Dr. Krippling Seeds.
This is Day 50 of flower for her.
She was topped twice and vegged for about five weeks.
Question - Would you still top plants if you could hear them scream?

On deck is Sugar Black Rose from Delicious Seeds.
She is two days old.

You will quite often see that some pics have the stray hair in them that you can see.
Here is the culprit. Just part of the package. Her name is Pepe and she stays.
Pepe is a Papillion and just turned 8 years old.

There you have it. I would offer you a chair, but we are in a closet.
There is room for all though. It's a virtual closet.

Nice introduction bud

Mind if I ask your still growing with that miracle grow product?

I still use it 2 or 3 times during flower.
I will use 1 tsp per 2 gallons of water for a little phosphorus boost.

And no issues to report ? Just curious as have heard to stay away from miracle grow products but your the first I'm
Seeing someone using a fert of theirs not soil. lol

Lol.

No, no issues to report. Miracle Grow is harsh, that is for sure.
I just use it at 1/6 strength here and there and have never had a problem.
Keep in mind that don't use it exclusively. Just one of the options for
a cheap ass.

Plants are interested in things like N, P and K but I doubt that they care
where it comes from.
Tomatoes seem to like it too. Lol.

Cheers friend.

...Never any shortage of pic's in Yer updates......IMHO... unless anyone is using Certified Organic Nutes...as ditch said...plants need NPK and I also think they really don't care where it comes from...but everything in moderation(read less than manufacturer recommendations)...peeps spend a lot of money unnecessarily on the popular nute de jour or hyped super products...after years of using MG with great results...last year I tried designer nutes(Fox Farm)...only cause' I found some great deals on the Zon, with no spectacular change in results!??...That led me to trying my own home brewed soil and organic feeding this year...I might try a "Doc's Kit" next season or try and refine my own organic style...dunno' yet...cheerz...h00k...:Hookah:

I also use the Fox Farm and my plants seem to love it. I tried the Advanced nutes pH perfect but I like the Fox Farm alot better.✌️

Thanks Doc. Keep doing what you are doing. Your plants always look awesome.

I agree. If it aint broke, why fix it. KIS. I member, you member?

You got that right my friend. I just don't have the time or money. Lol.
Thanks Big Sparks.

I think that plant and bud development speaks for itself! Excellent looking Chocolate Mint OG plant. Should be a fun one to see to the finish line...even more fun to smoke lol

:passitleft:

Thanks Urban. She is certainly piquing my interest.

I also use the Fox Farm and my plants seem to love it. I tried the Advanced nutes pH perfect but I like the Fox Farm alot better.✌️

It works well too. I use their soil a lot. I mix it with reused dirt from a big ol dirt pile out back. Lol.

Cheers friends.

Here we are on day 32 of flower for Patti the Chocolate Mint OG.
She is continuing on her merry way.
I have started removing the worst of the yellowed leaves. Just a few here and
there every day. Otherwise she is a happy girl.

Today she has a slight smell of cinnamon. Very nice little plant so far.
