7Dust2 Mad Scientist 2022 Grow

Yep, God knows how many pics I had to take just to get one that was clear enough. Placing it on something or using a tripod is definitely a must with these.
When my plants were taller I used Paracord to suspend it from the top light supports and just kinda held it in from swaying to take photos....almost works.....almost lol

Lmao. Yeah I noticed that myself. My hands are screwed from aviation metal work all these years.

As others have mentioned get a tripod or something steady to place it on otherwise you'll be taking multiple shots just to try get one that's clear enough with the detail you'll be expecting.
I ended up breaking the clip on the stand that came with mines, not sure what happened but it snapped in half lol I gave mines away to a friend but if using a tripod they're definitely going to give some detailed pics.

I tried a few things, diy tripod, taping it to a pole etc lol I gave up eventually as it was hit or miss. Get the thing zoomed in and focusing perfect but trichomes aren't quite where you want them on the screen for that perfect pic so adjust it then boom, out of focus and blury again lol

My chick is sitting here laughing saying it's a two person process one hold it's still and steadies...the other looks at phone and click the photo button 100x

Also, my iPhone with loupe taped to lense and the headphones plugged in allow me to use the volume button on the headphone wire to click the pic. Makes it easier as your not touching the actual phone to click the pictures hence phone won’t move…only take 50 pics instead of 100 bahahaha!

Hiya - if you can lock the focus, then just move slightly back/forth until the focus is precisely where you want it
I find tripods bothersome to set up exactly for that reason, so I find it easier to brace myself against a wall or sit on a chair with my elbows on my knees
If you can't lock focus, focus just in front of your chosen ideal spot - the depth of field will extend to just behind where you focus and with a bit of practice you can judge the depth of field to exactly match the front and back of the subject
Zoom in to focus, then zoom out to frame the image will also improve accuracy, and always use flash where possible to sharpen the image, usually about 1/250 exp or less
Hope that makes sense

I use the loupe with my phone now, pictures aren't always perfect but they do lol

Had to transplant babies today to bigger pot. They so small can't see them in the pot from a distance. Lmao.

I agree. Working on light . And getting frustrated cause all tools I got can't run on my air tank. So got 22k dallors if tools can't use and don't have anything to cut metal now

I'm sure you'll get there in the end dust. Half the time I just improvise with what I've got to work with but agree with you. Can be a complete pain in the ass and frustrating to the point you just feel like saying f*** It and leaving whatever it is your doing and just sitting down and smoking a big fat doobie instead as it just makes life easier lol

Got new seeds in the dark out mode. To pop. Now.
Put one seed of each.
Spice
Hindsight
The Great.
They under the aluminum foil. Block out light.

I'm not sure if I should grow some of my RQS Dos Si Dos or Northern Lights next. I have other seeds there, like white widow, skunk, amnesia haze but grew some of them last time. I want to keep it all the same strain
