They are. I'm looking for when I flipped them to get the date. But I really need to know when @Dennise takes off the fan leaves . What size do you start taken fan leaves off the flowering leaves . Or do you do that .Hopefully you have it dialed in now. Looks like those buds are starting to stack
Hmmm. But how. Fan leaves below give stem to leaves above. Like layers. Cause fan leaves secondary feed the nodes . Then you have nug fan leaf . That fan leaf their at the nug site two on each side. Has to feed that nug site. But get help from lower . Right .Hey I don't know if this helps but usually I start trimming fan leaves when they start to fade as that's an indication to me that she's done growing and full focus on swelling so removal won't inhibit her at all.....or very minimal.
And a trim *if needed* a week or two before full flower....normally at this point all I do is tuck.
I getcha.... Sorry I should know that you know what your doing...I'm a greenhorn when it compares to you. ....I just get in a groove of helping in the a.m that sometimes I forget exactly who I'm addressing.....so sorry dust.My gut tells me wait a week. Then trim the big fan leaves feeding stems. Keep them from getting thicker. Stronger . Cause if I remember and hell idk. Somewhere in my file cabinet says so. Lmao.
No no bro. U got that all wrong it's me don't know. I'm unsure . I remember but I don't. If u know what I mean. . I'm not all their. Bro. I'm winging it bro. I know the make up of a plant and crap but growing consist of throwing seed in ground and development. After that. Trimming. And harvest. . I'm new. Trust me. Last time I did a complete harvest was. 1979 in feilds of TN Mid Delta on the River.I getcha.... Sorry I should know that you know what your doing...I'm a greenhorn when it compares to you. ....I just get in a groove of helping in the a.m that sometimes I forget exactly who I'm addressing.....so sorry dust.
Hell I was horrible grower. Ask. @Dennise she will tell ya. She want lie. Lmao. I couldn't grow a stick in ground with dirt . I had to finish my degree but couldn't get by calculus . Tried three times. But I was trying to add to my structural aviation life and wanted to go to new technology. Like ion engines. And I had to take. AG as elective. So I took. Like 4 of them. Hydroponic and geno . Study of rocks. Iron minerals and crap. . So got to excuse me alot. I got alot up their and it's all in a file cabinet and hard to find it with not organized. In my brain. . 27 years working for gov will do it to u. Military and private .I getcha.... Sorry I should know that you know what your doing...I'm a greenhorn when it compares to you. ....I just get in a groove of helping in the a.m that sometimes I forget exactly who I'm addressing.....so sorry dust.
Gotcha. To late for that now. . it's 33 day flowering . Now.. ok. Leads me to do it now.. don't know why my gut telling me wait. Just take off great big fan leaves.. I already stripped bottoms of small tiny crap never going to develop. . So ok. Let me think here. I'm thinking go ahead strip big fan ones off. And call it. Since didn't when I trimmed bottomHey Dust, I clean up the plant twice:
1st - About a week before flower, I'll remove any branches that won't make it to the canopy. Little branches coming off the undersides of other branches and inside branches that are too small to go anywhere got to go. I start from the bottom middle and work my way up and out.
2nd - After the stretch, about day 21 of flower, I'll do one last defoliation. I'll remove any leaves stacked on top of each other, and any leaves keeping air from flowing freely through the plant. I want a full canopy, but I have no use for leaves in the shade. This wasn't needed as much growing in soil as it is in DWC.
Other than that, I only remove leaves because they're hiding the bottom of the plant and I can't water or they're hiding a cola I want to expose. Even then, I usually try to tuck first. If your plants are getting good airflow and the leaves are getting light, I'd leave them alone.
Your tent is looking great, nice lush green and getting full in there!
Well I truely learned as kid on farm. But I was not paying attention like I should but some how I can recall alot of sht now. For some reason. But idk. I think I'm at peace now is why. Cause I need in position to save lives all my adult life and now don't have that stress no more . Or dangers . But I did do one plant like what u were saying like first flip the second trim. I done that just don't really remember when I done it. But trimming few in next day or so. Took big fan leaf off already I post the graph plant leaves. They just wow. But that plant want have but 3 nugs 4 . But got several clones of it . Take few grows to get a plant. Once done this way I think. . I think.Hey I've never had a green thumb or knew anything about plants... August was my first solo grow...and I've crammed alot....almost to much info into this skull, that sometimes I get shit twisted lol
But that's super neat to have had the opportunity to learn all that even tho it wasn't exactly what you were in school for.... I'm flying by the seat of my pants and doing alot of research.
