I'm a bit rural now.
Who am I kidding, way the fek up north Amigo.
I still have a snow bank in front of my window.
Dan at the only grow shop for 50 miles told me he paid $125.00 per skid delivery Fee pre COVID.
It's over $500 now / skid. Fek:eek:
If I knew the rise in costs I would have planned this out a bit better.
The only good part about the whole thing is .....
Ontario doesn't charge for license plate stickers anymore.
I got a Rebate check in the mail that just about covered the cost of everything. :cheer:
I couldn't get it cashed quick enough, hehe.
You got to love it when a surprise like that happens, Woohoo.

Stay safe
Bill

Edit: I just checked prices on zon.

Where I reside, aside from the multi billion dollar outfits like Menards, Lowells, and Walmart, we have two small grow shops. They both do their best to keep prices within reason and often utilize economy of scale together on their larger orders. If a supplier tries to blatantly fork them they'll proactively work together to find a more favorable partner.

I am very lucky to have an efficient market system in my home town. Still the cost of materials are out of control.
One thing I've done to counter cost is integrate less expensive ingredients into my soil blends like pine bark mulch.
