7 1/2 foot tall sativa - Organic outdoor grow flowering

it smells like a piney skunk lol it did grow right under a pine tree though idk if that makes a difference

heres whats left on the plant after those 5 pieces were taken off

oh those arent going to be left to grow more there coming down as well just took the bulk of it in as soon as i could

ok ill have a couple more pics tonight but as far as final pictures...... probably not till tomorrow, that pic with the branches hanging.... im still working on the first one (almost done) but its been amost 6 hours for just the one i see this going till late tomorrow to get it all done, ill post a pic of the buds of the first branch hanging once i get there

here is one of the branches complete, its the smallest branch of the 5, if you took and multiplied whats hanging there X 6 then thats pretty much what i have im done for the night, 6 hours is quite enough for tonight im gonna hit it hard early tomorrow.

Looks amazing, you've definitely earned some rest! trimming is by far the most menial, labor intensive part of the process >.<

The pine smell is normal for some strains, and probably doesn't matter than it grew near a pine tree.

Do you have a scale available for a final weight after they're dry?

Yeah, a lot of strains are rich in alpha pinene, usually across the board, so if you're gonna get strong smell of turpentine after few days of drying and curing, it means you're doing it right.

alright so a total of 9 hours of trimming and i have HALF done and heres what half looks like, (33 branches hanging so far) so i was off on my numbers but in a good way

Looks like you're going to be taken care of for a long while ^.^ And just be thankful it's only one plant you're trimming =p

i think id like a smaller plant though lol this is taking forever but its worth it

Smaller plants can normally be knocked out in 45min to an hour, but doing 6-10 is a mind numbing back breaking all day affair haha

That was a great plant to watch grow, such beautiful sativa buds and purple coloration at the end. Couldn't ask for much more than that! I bet you the puff is going to be epic!

thanks lester i am now going to appreciate every puff more just because i now know the work involved to get to the final product, i cant wait for the first bowl after it has dried and cured properly ill try to remember to post the results for everyone,

thanks jinn, im pretty sure that after tomorrow i should have right around 65 branches hanging up and only till wednesday or thursday till its dry and ready for the curing jars but before they go in for there cure i will weigh them for there dry weight and give the results, any second guesses on weight?

It's really hard to guess the weight without knowing the bud density or even strain to make an 'educated' guess.
But I think I shall stick with my original guess!
I hope I'm wrong too, I hope every bud on there is diamond dense, and weighs as much as lead =p
