600w LED Blueberry Diesel Grow Journal 8/2013

Day 32 I am beginning flowering tomorrow so things are about to get interesting. Last set of pics for grow stage. There are more roots than water in the res.
Flowering nutes I will be using:
aqua flores A+B
MOAB
Monster bloom

Thanks All! Its now Day 37, Flowering Day 4 I trimmed a bunch of upper leaves to let more light to the lower branches. I have the light on near 100% and they are loving it. I can barely stick my hand in to check the PH and EC...its becoming a 2 man job with my crappy DWC system. So far each budsite only has one hair.

Thanks Tech. Im using a non-sponsor brand for the light so pm for specifics. Its a 600w chipset (90w + 5w led's), draws 370w at 3.3Amps

Day 41, Flowering Day 8 So my water pump is now encased in roots but still pumping. Hope it holds out until harvest. The plants drink/evap 1 gallon a day.

Flowering Day 12 For total day, add 31 to that. Trying to update every 4 days. Finally starting to get a little smell when I stick my head in there. Had a few light timing mistakes where it got left on an extra hour or so because my digital timed died. I think my compensations avoided any damage though.

Very nice I'm not a hydro guy. I'm doing soil, but I am a LED guy, and it looks like your LED is some serious light I've got 2 SS400s' that are 5W LEDs (80x5) but in flower they only crank out 320W apiece. In the last weeks of flower I turn on the UVB and get 20W more, I think.
lots of bud sites!!! good light penetration you can see buds down low same size as some up top great job

Thanks Harley! The actual draw on my light is 370w so we are not that far off. I think you have a bit more UVB though. Yeah forming a decent canopy is really essential. Have to give some credit to my nutrients for this round too, Im loving the canna line.

Flower Day 16 They are growing very fast. Noticed a tiny bit of nute-burn which was quickly corrected.

Having some problems now with heavy branches and stalks bending . I think that this is a common problem caused by lack of the Silicon mineral in hydro systems. Trying to find a good additive with Si for future grows. I had to string-up many of the heavier branches so the next set of pics should look funny.
