I can't offer anything in the land of teas and organic soil, so all I can tell you is cal-mag is not going to hurt anything.

Looks like yours has chloramine, which does not evaporate. You can get rid of it with plain vitamin C tablets (ascorbic acid) at 30mg/8 gallons of water. I had that written down from a websearch a while ago. I was going to try it but my plants never minded the tap water so I didn't bother.

I’ll do some research tomorrow on what’s available. May buy a filtration system. It would have been a lot cheaper from the get go.

I know I can grow these strains better, so I’m going to do 1 of each this time, and keep it to 3 plants instead of 6. Trying to find homes for 2. AK and an Afghan.

Yeah I have some plant friendly supports on the way. Aka green pipe cleaners. Lol.

I hate slow Fridays, but Amazon has to love them. I ordered some 12” pot trolleys with pull out drain trays. Haven’t seen this type, but solves a few problems... if they actually work as described. Some folks were saying with the weight of the plants, the catch tray gets stuck. We’ll see, this world is full of winners.

Those need more holes drilled in them too FYI.
Just make sure you drill them over the trays if you get these particular carts.
