Morning update, still need to clear out middle of plants, and add more trellis. Been broke so haven't been in garden much cant do much.

I've seen many amazing things in my life and this has to be one of them, what a wonderful job you must be doing! I absolute love it!

How does your water system work could you specify it a bit? that would be helpful for me and others planning to have watering systems! Big thumbs up to you keep it going! :bravo:

My ideal setup would of included a reservoir so I can add nutrients quick and easy. My system starts out with water timer, I bought best water timer you can buy was like 45$. Then ran 3/4 drip line 100 ft to my plants making sure it was long enough to reach all plants. Then I T'd with a 1/2 drip line hose to each of my 8 inch hydroponic rings. Put 4 ways to make my own rings just poked 1/4 inch holes every 2-3 inches and wrapped around. I would like to add 3rd ring to get full smart pot wet but I'm at max water usage already since drought, adding a 3rd ring would be very costly in fines.

Of cause my setup would be a lot different from yours since i'm growing indoors but when/if the time comes to grow outdoor its not bad to have this in the bag of knowledge! Keep it up!!
 
Is your water coming from your house tap??
Im gonna do some serious construction in October to my backyard so I can have a serious outdoor garden of Cannabis and Veggies as well. Very interested in how to set up a watering system similar to yours but I really dont know what the hell Im doing HA. If you were to install a reservoir how would you implement it? Would you include a water pump?? Props Props Props to you on your grow thanks for the priceless info !!
 
Yeah I'd have about 100 gallon reservior, with a high pressure pump on a timer to feed plants with nutrient water.

How come you just didn't grow in the ground? Is it better to grow in your own made soil? Would they get bigger if they were in the ground or is that pot big enough for the plant to think its in the ground? Sorry for all the questions but i don't know much and I'm curious to the reason of pots. Huge ones at that.
 
Growing in the ground poses many many many problems. First off I'm not digging 4 Holes 6.5FT x 6.5FT x 2FT Deep Hole with a shovel, that would take 2 weeks per hole.... Cant use a tractor because there are metal water lines everywhere it used to be area for our vegetable garden. Lastly you'd need gopher protection like lining entire hole with metal cage to prevent gophers from destroying your roots and eating your plants. You want to grow in Soil not in Dirt... Plants are able to spread roots through soil insanely fast and get available nutrients in soil. If you grow in dirt you lose root growth, and available nutrients. Growing in smart pots is far superior cause roots get more available oxygen that they need to thrive.
