I fixed the cords so they are all up and not hang or in the way. Im not able to hang the fan and filter off the tent as I fear its not strong enough so I will have to figure something out. Any tips guys?

No fear man hang that fan and filter make sure you have a six inch gear clamp to secure the fan to the filter, find the center of gravity and equally space your hangers apart from that point, the weight will be distributed over two hangers, snap a pic of the poles in the tent just to show me they aren't tiny wooden dowels if they are steel or alloy tubes like tent poles your good to go.

And as far as the gear goes, very nice indeed, nice choices. That looks like the MH bulb looks sorta blueish could be the camera filter. Just need that HPS and a 10000k finish for the last 2 weeks, I am pretty sure you will have to remove the lense of your aircooled hood for the finisher, your gonna want all that UV, and at that point your going to want that fan and filter on the ceiling of the tent.

Thank bro. Ok so I hung up the filter. Im trying to dial in the temp so I got running with the fan on low I will check it out about every half hour till I get in range. Any tips on this part? So I used tie wire to hopefully give more strength . I dont trust the plastic corners at all.

I like you always thinking, never hurts to sure things up right, that's the stuff I do that helps me sleep, I would pull those straps tight to the ceiling of the tent. But other than that looks like you got things under wraps and for the record I hear you on not trusting plastic, one of my old cheap tents from china has the metal corners, not the prettiest but much stronger than the ones on my DR tents which are also plastic but still fairly sturdy.

I was worried about the finding it all on the ground. So the tie wire does help me sleep alot. Any ideas on how to make the plastic corners stronger? ok I will move the Fan higher. Just waiting for the seeds or some clones. I found some one who will set me up with a couple. As soon as im set up will set up the journal as this is my first offical grow and will need alot of help from you experienced growers out there!

petergreen there are some kits out there but the didnt have the hood i wanted. i wanted a square one for a nice even spread for my tent. so i bought everything off amazon for a great price. just beware and make sure they send you the right ballast i had a problem and had to send one. thanks for the props its crazy bright in there.

Nice, hearing good things about that solis tek,, but I haven't found a complete set. I'm still up in the air, hps/led and might do a hybrid next,,, good job so far. I like it!

Yes every one i talked to said solis tek is one of the best and cant go wrong with it. i was in the same boat led or hps and i went hps only because the advice i got from a good friend and people on here. after this run i will do a hps/LED run see if i see a big difference or any. im really happy with so far it very bight and the spread is nice.

Can't go wrong with the HID lights, The LED's are good too but I fear some better than others. If your going combo next time then you have it made, that DE bulb setup is the cake.

I agree with what you say about some being better than others and the best commercial green house grow led lights are like 3 grand. north cal did a grow with them, spyder led lights. you ever hear about them? I think i will save up and buy one soon. as for now im super happy with the current set up can wait to put them to work.

Meta tron I know right them led lights are the real deal. My friend told me about them so I figure I share with you guys on here as I was very impressed with videos and more importantly the numbers because we all know numbers dont lie. Im going to have to save a couple couple pay checks. The one I want is the 1200 version 3 grand lol I think well worth it too

Ya they say they use Osram LED's which are name brand goodness, and they under drive them to ensure long life, I think I am going to save for one as well, can't beat that. You should email norcal and ask if they found a difference in thc or essential oil and terpene production.

I think I will buddy. they seem to blow the competition away I mean for 3 grand thry better be worth it. You can run 2 of them for the same as one 1000 watt ballast.

hey bro im trying to germinate my seeds and tips? i put them in paper towels in baggies and moisten them up and put them in my tent area with the heater on 85 i checked on them and the temp got to 91 in there so i lowered it to 75 and now its about 80 in there.

That's fine, I have just had seeds out at room temps and on the fridge, I used to Worry about temps but not so much anymore, once you make your first 1000 seeds you tend to do some crazy stuff most people wouldn't try with expensive seeds, I use chlorinated tap water on paper towel in a ziplock. If I have any issues with germination I blame it on the seeds, I have had 100% germ rates for way to long plus I do some of my garden vegies like that too as long as the seed is large enough.
