I've been real quiet lately as Im a noob with no experience. Everything I've learned has been from you guys here.

Thanks. Everything is drying now. Once it's dried and weighed I will post the final numbers and then Soniq can wrap this baby up for us. It's been a pleasure.

Thanks everyone. I've decided to make some Gumby hash out of approx 700 grams of bubble/trim which I have frozen. I'll add pics when I do it.

I've decided to make some bubble hash using the Gumby method. I spent less than 15 dollars picking up the necessary odds and ends. This is also my first attempt at making hash so here we go:
The tools:
5 gallon bucket filled with water
Add (1) 7 pound bag of ice
Add trim
Poke a hole in the lid of the 5 gallon bucket and attach mixer to drill
Then mix for 15 minutes
After the mix screen out the trim ans squeeze the excess water out through the screen
Now pour one bucket through the screen into a waiting, clean bucket
After the first pour through
After 4 more pour throughs it looks like this
Now the Gumby bucket is sitting and waiting for 4 hrs before I can siphon the water off of the hash layer and pour it into a jar.
.... at 5 PM I will be able to siphon and pour into jars. I'll add more pics later to finish up the process.

hmmmmmm think I seen this somewhere. heres a multitasker for you.....get a roll of vinyl window screening. 1 roll is huge. use it as a strainer as well as screen for drying.

OK everyone.....I've siphoned the water out of the 5 gallon bucket and I've poured it into a big jar and it's settling now. It had been sitting for 5 minutes when this picture was taken.
In 2 hours I'll siphon the water off of the top and use the turkey baster to extract the hash from the jar. I'll then place it in the wax paper covered bowl and begin the drying process.
