Hi Guys,
I'm starting (well I already started) a new test cycle, first time here, with a very nice plants that I'm trying to train and improve it's an automflowering feminalized of Bluebarry mixed with a very unknown plant coming from my born city named "Tipico Irpino" an indica plant very strong and tall! :)

Vegetative time should be classic 30-40 days for an auto and flowering between 8-10 weeks, but let's see if I can improve a little bit.

Following the configuration (everything was done by me :p):

BOX:
- 3 sensors temperature/humidity left/middle/right intern of the box
- energy consuming probe
- 3 moisture sensors
- 3 digital meters
- 1 light spectrum probe
- 1 light intensity probe
- 1 light sensor (on/off)
- 2 water level sensors
- electronic pump
- cam
- Fan IN/OUT
- Filter activated carbon
- 3 pots 23x23x23cm

LAMP:
- 7 autonomy different series of LEDs (7 different colors / frequency at different time)
- 3 temperature sensors

REMOTE CONTROLLING:
- web site for monitoring (still not public - but I'll post some printscreens)
- back-end remote accessing (useful for debugging)

Coming soon/later:
- 1 sensor temperature/humidity for outside the box
- 1 CO2 sensor
- ph probe

Goal of the test will be: to test 3 different addictives for vegetative staging (accordingly with the policy of this forum I'll never share brand/ad/etc staff like that)...I just want to say this to avoid some discounted questions in the days coming and probabily they'll be the answer for different speed of growing (if it will be different of course), different shapes of the plants and other disequal dettails we will see in the next future.

Let's start and fingers crossed.

Oh some pictures of the prototype (probabily the most interesting part at the moment! :p )

I'm all in for this one.

Thanks for starting your journal.

Wow, I really like your homemade set up.
Going to be keeping an eye on this one.
Congrats, on your first journal.

Good night/morning,!?! Boh i don't know... It's 3 o'Clock, anyway the prototype looks much better, unfortunately last night fans IN stop to work and the temperature of the lamp raised over 40°C:

sufficient to fire 1 uv led switching off all the serie, the energy goes down to 110W/h:

The bad thing was that I was at work, good thing in 8-9h without and with an internal temperature rushed up to 28.7°C and humidity decreased to 46%:

nothing dangerous happened - we will consider that like a very warm day in march/April when here in EU the spring start and lives with mixed conditions -sometimes ended in very extreme scenario!
Now the fan is working fine, well it's in pause because inside is dark and I would like to have high humidity to compensate the hot day, in the nature it happen the same, very warm at day high humidity in the night and I have:

But nice thing (the algorithm ;-) ) temperature is:

Let's say perfect or am I wrong? By to way, do you want to heat the lamp? Easy! Let's switch on uv serie! :) the gap is about 2-3°C:

Probably sufficient to don't burn another led/serie (37°C about).
So the UV led replaced at 6pm about and the serie starts to work again.

Finally we have a nice view from inside, useful for comparing and monitoring:

That's everything for today, I hope to have a quiet weekend, with no hardware problems, leave the plants growing with a nice weather tomorrow my algorithm prevents 23-24°C with 60-70% humidity lot of wind with fresh air (around 21-22°C) fresh water and the same for anther 5-10 days when probably I've to move up the lamp... Let's see.
Ciao

Day 8 : 05.10.2019

Light on: 6:00 to 23:59
Light Off: 00:00 - 05:59

Good morning, it's still not the time for the automatic watering! :) So I manually watered at 6 o'Clock!

Currently the scenario is pretty good, plants are growing fast and strong, the environment is pretty stable a part some inferences probably due to a not perfect wiring, but we can survive. Let's have a look here with only 150W/h which progress I got:

IMG_20191006_062852.jpg

The weather is pretty excellent for the vegetative phase very high humidity (never under 60%) and nice temperature (around 22-23°C):

Lamp is providing only 800-1300lux but I'm not sure about the accuracy of the sensor, plus the box is not well isolated and I loose some lights from the door. The distance between lamp and plants is around 38-40cm and I'll leave this gap until when digital meters will say the distance is 35cm. The box is only 1,50m as height, pots are 23cm, lamp 12cm and the fan on the filter other 5cm so no much space here and I'll try to "compress" the plant to occupy the space horizontally and not vertically.

For now is all, let's have an update soon as possible and I wish you a nice weekend and abundant growing! :)

Day 9 : 06.10.2019
Light on: 6:00 to 23:59
Light Off: 00:00 - 05:59

Good morning, manually watered at 6 o'Clock and nothing yesterday evening, this night we almost touched 100% of humidity, I would like to be a little bit low so I've to touch the algorithm

.

For the rest everything as expected: consuming, growing, lamp temperature, moisture, etc.

Have a nice day! :)

Day 10 : 07.10.2019
Light on: 6:00 to 23:59
Light Off: 00:00 - 05:59

Good morning, manually watered at 6 o'Clock and nothing yesterday evening, this night we still touched 100% of humidity, but I had no time to implement the new algorithm. In any case it was a quiet night with a nice growing. The plant on the right did a little bit more and maybe this is the signal that soon they need something extra! ;-) let's see...
Here the result:

Are you agree with me it's a wonderful view!? :)

Have a nice start.
