Since I have no idea...what is a salt line? Is it that white thing on the side of the last pic? What is its purpose. Sorry, you know I'm hydro dumbForgot the roots and salt line
Normally you’d see it on top of your soil and if I pull the covers over the medium I’d see it there also . I’m not use to seeing it in the trays normally that’s nutrients build up . I also noticed my reservoir has stayed clean but it’s off white and I should see a nutrient buildup line !Since I have no idea...what is a salt line? Thanks RexLooking great West!
How many fans do you use on the under canopy?
So what do you think is causing the difference now or is that an unknown? Just wondering if you need to be on the look out for anything now or it's just a fluke thingNormally you’d see it on top of your soil and if I pull the covers over the medium I’d see it there also . Right now I have 2 on each side ,I keep knocking the one closest to the door off . Done broke the cover . Here’s the two on the back side pic . Plus my big fan in the back needs a milk crate for the canopy . And this one comes on every hour for 15 minutes for violent storm of fresh air .
I’ve taken that it’s a good thing , I’ve just never saw it in the flood trays . No fluke . I need to vacuum up the cinnamon off the trays since the bug is gone .So what do you think is causing the difference now or is that an unknown? Even if I were able to show mine, somehow I think West would leave me with root insecurities/envyThe small and big fans without the fronts are badasses daring any stray branch to get close!
Wouldn't an MSA line mean it's not dissolving?
And love the root porn! Glad @Rexer got to see that.
I shake the jug pretty good before I pour it . I splashed water on it in both buckets and noticed the temp was 63 degrees f maybe it didn’t want to mix . Just looking for why , I didn’t taste it , the salt line . Maybe too much MSA ?The small and big fans without the fronts are badasses daring any stray branch to get close!

All the roots on the autos I grew were small but mine stayed short . The roots stayed right under the basket not like the photo take the tray up and out . MSNL seed co. I need to see if they have carmelious autos another excellent day time buzz . This was the only one that made 25” for me .Even if I were able to show mine, somehow I think West would leave me with root insecurities/envy
For you...I'd say look into the XXL autos, or "super autos" - they can be quite huge and I'd love to see you grow one out.I shake the jug pretty good before I pour it . Stout shows no solids on my tds meter ! It has 5 mL a gallon on hydro and I can put 100 mL in with 7 ppm the ro number .Might need to be a bit warmer to dissolve. What brand of MSA are you using and what ppm are you aiming for?
Make sure you don’t mix in 11.15ml/gal!11.134ml/gallon.
If the Stout is 1.7% Si (as I recall), then Hydrobuddy says you need 2.227ml/gallon to reach 10ppm. I have been lowering the ppm from 50 in veg to 10 in flower because the stuff is so damn expensive!
If you wanted 50ppm you would need 11.134ml/gallon.
Whoa I think I want to cut back . You could put a rock on one of these branches and knock a deer out .Make sure you don’t mix in 11.15ml/gal!
