THANK YOU EVERYONE!!
First to all who voted in this month's contest, to all the entrants for filling the roster to the brim, AND for the poll breaking the 100 vote mark by a good margin!! I think this is a record for the most votes in a single POTM contest am I right?
Of course I have a SPECIAL thanks to all of you who voted for ME and Blueberry Kush #1! I am so very pleased and honored to have won this contest during a month with a full 26 entries! This was a tough contest if ever there was one!
I would like to continue with something that N.W. Green started in the July contest when he donated his BPN nutes to the second place winner… ME!
Since I have yet to crack my three 1 gallon bottles (saving them for next season), I would like to request that my BPN prize go to the second place finisher… "slosmokin". I thought your plant was outstanding man! Great job and I know you will make good use of those nutes!
This win is bitter sweet for me however...
Bitter sweet because I lost a very dear and beloved pet this last Saturday. His name was Kimba and he was a sweet little orange tabby cat. He loved our gardens and he loved accompanying me every morning and afternoon as I tended to our plants out on the back hill.
He was right there standing next to me as I took practically every outdoor photo I have posted on 420 since I joined. This win is literally the first piece of good news we have had since Kimba disappeared into the forest and never returned.
So this is for you my precious little spirit! I wish you could be here with me to share our victory! I can't imagine what my life is going to be like without you and your tireless enthusiasm for everything we did in the garden together. Oh! How you will be missed.
KIMBA

To the 420 Staff: I hope that you guys can make an exception about the off-topic portion of this post under the circumstances. My little friend was a big part of my grows, and he was right there by my side through all the phases of raising this winning entry. I wanted to dedicate this to him because to me, these plants were his plants too. Thank you!
