420 Magazine's Plant of the Month: October 2024

@marcus611a I'm not really sure I fixed it entirely, it was yellowing early with spots on the leaves etc, but I was feeding just 'veg' fertilizer (NPK 5,1,1) through veg and then into flower mostly just flower feed (NPK 1,4,5). When I noticed the problems, I started mixing them evenly to give a more balanced NPK. The idea came from watching Bruce Bugbee who studies hemp production (

) who says you want a balanced feed to get the highest yields.
I think the soil was a bit used up since I hadn't refreshed it with new compost after a couple grows. Usually I flip the soil and add a bunch of compost each cycle or two.

Mackerels! With the help from my friends this plant really flourished! With its living soil and now attention to brix levels, it's some of the tastiest smoke I've had from my yard grows yet! First outdoor plant that I really enjoy its flavor! The high is just off the hook!

Thanks bill! She was a trip to grow! I'm still trimming Betty! I can't use the trim bowl dry on her. All her trichs fall off! I think if I trimmed her wet like you it would have been different.

Makes sense now that I tried it on one layer of dry and saw smoke in the unit! The smoke was trichs up in the air in the dome! Yeah, no thanks. Mother nature was working with us here and she allowed it.

Purple is awesome for sure! We got cold nights in the end! it's a short rest while I trim and buck Betty's buds. A few days on that and it's Frenchy Cannoli hash time Ooh la la! Then it's cart filling time! Woofa!

Betty's buds are going to fill 2, 5 gallon pails . That's a lot a hash!
