I am privileged and humbled to present my entry for February.

Perky Girl is a Green Crack and my first attempt at a truly medium sized indoor plant.
Limited training primarily a timely topping and several weeks vegging.

She possesses a very pleasant citrus smell which is predominately lemony.
Waited a little extra time to attempt to achieve a very heavy high that will lead to hours of Star Trek.
In the original series Spock and Kirk are pretty big dicks.

She will be taking a 36 hour nap before getting the chop.

Lovely looking flowers! 36 hours? Does the extra time make for smoother smoke?

I thought I would enter the "Plant of the Month" contest this month. One of my two grow lights has died on me and I can't afford to buy a new one right now. So I thought I would take a shot....can't win it if I'm not in it right?

My entry is an autoflower strain from FastBuds called ZkittleZ and she is being grown in a pot approximately 15 gallons in size. The medium is ProMix BX. She sprouted on November 28th which makes her 75 days post sprout. The breeder says 9 weeks from germination but nah, she needs more time. Her buds are just starting to swell nicely and packing on the trichromes and resin. I'm so glad I replaced my carbon filter before this grow as she is a strong smelling girl. It's kind of tough to tell her size in the photos. She measures 30" across and is 23" tall. This plant produces more leaves then any plant I have ever grown. I've removed 10-20 leaves each day for the last 30 days and you can't tell it looking at her.

Here are a couple photos of her. Thank you for your consideration. As always the competition is amazing!

Thanks for the kind words.

Actually, based upon what I've read and learned from the Community the 36 hours of darkness should make a difference. So to answer your question, we'll find out if it helps.

Okay, I'll give it a try...
Say hello to my monster scrog Afghani! Fills up my entire 2x4 cabinet.
Raised in coco under two 95 watt HLG quantum boards, fed the entire dyna gro line with a few additives (recharge, mammoth P, worm castings, a little bloom booster, and winter frost).
She's a tough gal! been around since last summer, has Survived multiple pest attacks and me torturing her branches for many months LOL.
Best i can tell she has approximately 108 colas and should be ready to harvest around Valentine's day depending on how her trichs look. Not the biggest buds, but there's still time for a little more swelling up.

I watched a pretty good video on this subject the other day. I forget who posted it here but the link was removed due to an embedding issue. Go to Youtube and search
"Darkness Before Harvest Lab Results" by user Lost Leaf. Good stuff. The sweet spot looks to be 36-42 hours of dark before chop.

Hi Everyone,

In the great 420 community spirit I will submit from my last grow, this White Widow XTRM she was grown in organic soil (LOS), in a 30L (7gal) drilled out pot. Near the end of her flowering there was some quite noticeable purpling colour change to her buds which I'll post the 2nd pic of. She gave me 8 1/2oz of dried cured bud and it was great to be able to refill the stash jars.

All the best everyone, lovely to see all of the wonderful pics of your brilliant grows on display, I wish I could have a sample of each!
