DirtFarmer will be tough to beat this month considering what he went through to see his crop through to completion. Good luck to everyone nonetheless.

What he went through to see his crop through to completion? You're kidding, right? He harvested early because of a snot-nosed kid trying to rip him off. I, on the other hand, dealt with a Sheriff's RAID and still kept my wits about me to hang in there and harvest my buds individually and at their peak, knowing LEO can come back at any moment and haul it all away, me included. Go through that without soiling yourself stinky.... *LOL*

I didn't hear about your tribulations Irish. Wow. I guess the main issue there was that you didn't make your troubles known like DirtFarmer did; sleeping with his crop and all. This contest shouldn't be about that, but it does seem that it did play a part in the voting. You did a great job Irish, no doubt about it. Would love to meet you some day. Anyways, I appreciate what you have contributed to our community here.

It's all good, Munki. I do have a harvest journal in the current grow journal section with all the gory details of the raid, along with a crapload of pics in the photo gallery, but you're right, I don't go around advertising it, or the fact that I and several others took turns keeping watch out in our gardens every night for 2 months, as sleeping in one's garden is a pretty dangerous thing to do. I just figgered the girls could speak for themselves and stand up against the best and biggest here without having to campaign them. Guess it takes more than that, but it's just not in my nature.

I'd love to meet you someday too, Munki. You're doing a great job with your indoor grows, something I have never had the green thumb to do, so I'm in awe of your accomplishments.

Peace out :rollit:

I hear ya. When it comes to voting though, a certain amount of politics will come into play.

Members can vote for any reason that suits their fancy. I still remember HazeSeeker getting 2-3 votes for his seedling in the plant of the month - just for creativity and quality of the photo ;)

;) Thanks Butcher. And the end isn't in sight yet either, so there'll be more to read as this thing unfolds. While harvest is still a flurry, though, I have little time to write, but I will update in time and finish the thread with lots of pics and tutorials about what to do when harvest and curing plans go wrong....

Would it be called "Tribulations of a Cannabis Guerrilla Grower"? :smokin:

*LOL* Munki. That would be another story of a time long past....a great odyssey involving the Santa Cruz mountains and black helicopters with guns on them. But I digress....:rollit:

This is why I like this 420 magazine community so much. I get to meet people like you Irish! :peace:

Speakin of politically motivated votes, I'm guilty. I voted for Irish because well, I got to see first hand her truly mind blowing growing capabilities. Her pics dont do real justice to size and beauty. Far from it truthfully. A real treat to actually stare in wonder and almost disbelief at the results of her amazing talents but more so, her willingness to share her wonderful knowledge.

Bein from Humboldt, I know some accomplished growers and I'd put her up against any of them. She knows what she's doin and the girl has the balls(figuratively speakin of course) to get it done. She doesnt pull her skirt over her head and run for the house when the crap hits the fan. She's old school grow and 'bout as tough as they come LOL. That said, there are real growers and there are wannabe/posers. This chic, for sure, is the real deal.

So I reckon I'm a bit tainted yes, which is to say I may not be politically correct in my voting and the contest isnt about character or deeds done to bring in the crop and none of that really matters I suppose because in Irish's case, a picture simply ISNT worth a thousand words...:peace: MF
