Our Winners

Oh Lordy, you gave us some discussions this month. Particularly between first and second place. However, with his perfect composition and beautiful, graphic, pin-sharp shot, Cola had to just tip it.

Well done, everyone. Thank you for your participation. See you in August's contest. :circle-of-love:

First Place - Cola Monster

Second Place - BeezLuiz

Third Place - Heavenly Hybrid

Great choices guys. well deserved for amazing pics.
congratulations to the talented winners. Loved all three

Congrats to the winners:bravo:

Guess I will need to up my game next time to really compete

Not necessarily. For staged photos, yes you will. At least one of the winners was not staged, and was serendipitous. My entry was just something I liked that came from a series I shot looking for male flowers. Cropping can change the where the eye is drawn to, and color correction can make it pop.

What i tough choice it must have been. Awesome submissions everyone! :welldone::tommy:

Congrats to all the winner's, fabulous photo's. :green_heart:

Although my photo my have appeared to be by chance, once I discovered the critter during my trichome inspection, I spent the next 30 minutes adjusting the angle and magnification of the subject and then adjusting the shutter speed, ISO, color balance, saturation, contrast and manually focus on the subject - all on a cell phone camera. I must have taken 15 or more shots before I got one I liked LOL.

Anyway, I just thought peeps might be interested to know how the photo came about. I know I'm always interested to know how some of these winning photos were taken so that I can up my game as well. :Namaste:

I stand corrected. It was a stroke of luck to find the elements needed, and some behind the scenes work to get the composition you wanted. I still think it's a great shot of what was there!
