Cleaning up some things myself, I just pulled 6 northern lights from flower getting trimmed up tonight, about the only new stuff I’m doing while waiting is getting a couple blue cookies cuts for my next run, and tonight I decided to try grafting some of my northern lights over to a grand daddy purp plant and vice versa. There’s always room and time for experiments! Hahaha

Literally just finished up another northern lights run the other day!! What’s up with northern I guess it’s a hit still!! How is the trichome head dust piles look after a harvest from your northerns genetics!!? I’ve literally never seen the amount of dust I get from northern lights it’s kinda mind blowing to see!! My grinder will fill up with tan dust after about 3-4 grinds!!

The only strain I’ve come to enjoy more soo far is Jack Herer. I’m hoping to have a new favorite though, Girl Scout Cookies!

I’m with ya on gsc I got paranoid pretty hardcore recently ended up having to toss two of my mothers out(thrips!!!) I only took one cut from the two because it’s a personal cut I can’t get rid of due to emotional attachments now!! There two ill never part with!! Not even the spider mite king himself will take them down now!! Her body is being attacked by beneficial microbiology as we speak so I’m hoping She starts treating her self when it comes to bug issues if I were to get one again!!!
I was gifted this northern cut she ended up being a true female so I wasn’t able to get the seed count to keep her genetics alive so I invited a not so friendly genetic in the tent with northern for a day and ended up with only one sac to save to keep her genes going. I’m noticing the terps are starting to lose smell the more I run her now so it was time to preserve!!!

I had planned on growing 2 Northern Lights and 2 GSC in one tent this summer since they're both shorter plants but I'm going to remove the Northerns from the schedule and plop in a couple more GSC instead. I'll grow Northern next time.

Nice! Who produced the GSC seeds you already have? I think it's good timing to be able to do a combo grow with different seeds and see how they all turn out differently. Or maybe no difference at all.

Perhaps it has been suggested but if not may I suggest a sticky page be posted at the beginning of this thread with links to all the participants' grow journals so there will be a central place for those interested for easy reference once the growing begins. Not to be a pain just a friendly suggestion.

To the best of my knowledge that is the intentions of this thread, I believe if you check the first post on the first page by Rob, at the bottom he already has Justin’s journal listed, I believe as comparative journals are started they will be added to that list.

I dropped an NL bean yesterday and it already has a tail in about 24 hours. I came back to it because none of the strains I have found yet have measured up to NL as a good nighttime sleep med and it is an easy-to-grow sturdy good yielding plant. Hard to beat in my experience.
