420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By Furcifer

Cool! Thanks. I'm keeping track of everyone's grows in a spreadsheet so I just needed this info for that.

Is your daughter a member here?
She won't join yet :eye-roll: doesn't want to be embarrassed...... my response

A little update on the girls!

ppm increased to 500ish
pH set to 5.6
Res temp 65F

Be back with more....

What's been happening in Furcifer's kingdom
Humidifier took a dump on me on Tuesday. So it's an old school putting moisture into the air circus going on right now.
Until the new one arrives tomorrow. I've kept the Temps down to mid 70's, and have been able to keep humidity around 48% during the days (lights on)...nights not an issue.
This has also slowed down the rate of increasing nutrient ppm's to there full potential.
Currently around 600ppm for the 3 larger ones. 540ppm on the 2 smaller.

A "Shout Out" :thanks: to another Fantastic Sponsor @Sierra Natural Science
They have sent out #SNS 209 to tryout. So, I have been using it.
I have pre conditioned the hydroton with the soil drench ratio mix.
The plants and hydroton received a foliage spray on the 11th and the 16th.

17 June Day 22 from Germination
Veg day 12

Moved the 3 larger girls under the Marshydro FC4800. Started out at 22inches, 45% up to 55% and doing good.

Later!

Furcifer, Looking great over there, nice. My grow cabinet is a bit, ranging 28-46%. Does Bettr humidity control could improve plant health and/or yields? Cheers
Hey, @cr8grow ....good question. And according to the "Vapor Pressure Density (VDP)" index for plants. They are under less stress if you can keep temperature and humidity within the preferred range band of growth cycle.
So, yes it can improve the overall quality of your plant!

Happy Weekend
Hope all is well and enjoying life!

19 June Day 24

:hookah: Decided to do a little trimming yesterday!
Took out the encroachment going on around the single and three leaf nodes. :ganjamon:

Be back in a little with an update on the other two girls!
:meatballs:

nice! That humidity bandaid looks like it should work well any readings on the difference? Sorry if I missed it. Are the green things in the bucket like a fancy bubbler or does it mist up into the bucket? Looking good.

Nevermind. Just looked at the picture. Bubbler. I was thinking I. Your initial bucket they were kisting the seedlings or something. Never seen those before

Use a t-shirt not a towel! It raises humidity by 10%. I have a mix of SNS 209 at 8ml per gal of water in the jar. I normally use Z7.
The Misters are air operated. Throws water droplets into the air. The more air pressure the larger the droplets. This is why I use 2 in each bucket. I can lower the pressure and have better coverage and less intrusive droplets on the developing roots.
It takes a half gallon in the bucket to operate. A little over 2 gallons will bring the level to the top of the Misters.
daily top off might be required... until you get that heavy drinker...than twice a day!
I also added an air stone (not required with mister).
If I want to take off for a couple of days.
Top off to the bottom of the net cups (4.5gallons). Unplug one of the Misters, plug in the air stone.

Ok, the smaller two!
Looks like this lady has a genetic personality disorder.?...unable to decide on a color or structure.
That or she's having one hell of a nutrient trip!

tangerine trees and marshmallows skies:theband: the girl with kaleidoscope eyes....
Pretty tho'

21 June Day 26 from Germination
Vegetation Day 16

Now that it's been 2 weeks using all parts of the nutrients blend for vegetative phase.
I have to give a huge "shout out" to @Prescription Blend and Mathew for there continued support on this grow!
There nutrients are doing great :yahoo: .... @Prescription Blend has been proactive on every members journal that is using their product.
:thanks: @Prescription Blend has a great product and a new friend with me!

So, I couldn't be more pleased to show how wonderful the girls look drinking @Prescription Blend at the Furcifer Bar&Spa.

PXL_20210620_173754351.jpg

Center and Right girls are....what is referred to as "Kush shyness". The only way fix this is through a series of B&D training!
Thus out comes the "Halo".

Peace, :circle-of-love:

Looking good! My little one in soil had that color situation on one of the leaves early on but grew out of it. I had abpicture but my phone has less memory than me so likely gone. Keep it up!

@Furcifer glad to see them thriving BUT, can you please talk about this thing your doing bundling the top leaves in that support? I have never seen that before and am very interested to know what your doing there and what the benefit is, clearly it intentional so I'd love to hear about the background on that technique if you could.

This one didn't show up until the like third node. I see it is also on the next developing set. I like her!
The other one had issues from the start....

PXL_20210605_164110496.jpg

Had to let her go!
Thanks for stopping by!

No problem...they were quick post over a busy weekend!
Kush plants are notorious for large fan leaves protecting the developing branches from the harsh mountain winds.
PXL_20210622_132529290.jpg

You have to get them up and out of the way of blocking light.
PXL_20210622_132648008.jpg

I've seen "ponytails" done like this.....
PXL_20210622_133101693.jpg

PXL_20210622_135346534.jpg

Not a fan of this technique. But, I do use it. You have to release them every couple of hours. So you don't deprive the top of light and growth area!
I prefer the "Halo's".

PXL_20210622_141353679.jpg

This is the left side plant without the need of a "Halo".
