420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By CigNv

I have two light cycles. 24-0 and 12-12. I will keep them on 24 hour light until the day they they go in the flowering tent. I do keep them a bit far away from the light for the first couple of weeks, but not so far that they stretch. or if I dont have the room for more height I turn down the light if it has that capacity.
 
Day 11

12 is definitely done, but 11 is still growing along. I will take 11 out of 12 any day.

CigNv, All good so far. It’s gonna be tough to follow all and will need to skim. I will track along with your WSE GSC grow.

Would be interesting to keep track of everyone doing the comparative grow’s germination rate. I soaked 6 seeds and all were ready after 36 hours :)
 
11 of 12 is pretty damn good. I have 3 of 4 so far after 36 hrs. It looks like @Websissy and I are on the same schedule so far.

Websissy. You should put your link to you GCS journal in your signature so people can easily find your grow journal.

i will likely not keep exact count of the germination rate, but from what i have seen in other journals so far it looks to be very high.
 
CigNv, I plan to drop 6 to get 4 without having any potential stragglers for this grow ...thanks to WSE for generously supplying two 5+1 GSC fem packs. Poking around looks like WSE GSC gear is solid.
 
Yes sir, sounds like a definitely solid plan to get you 4 good ones. Almost guaranteed with how good the germination has been on these.

Day 15

Starting to see a few brown spots. Added a tint bit of cal/mag (garden lime and Epsom salt) to each one and watered it in with about 50% strength nutes. I was planning on up potting them next weekend, but may have to do it sooner.

They are looking so good! Makes me excited to see what mine look like at 12 days. Blessings!
 
Yeah, they are taking off real nice for me. A bit wrinkly, but I think it may be my humidity, it has been running pretty low for how warm it gets in there during the day sometimes. It may be time to finally invest in a humidifier.

I had a decent one in my tent already but it just seemed a tad too small. I ended up getting a larger one that is also wifi enabled. Thankfully my ambient RH is high enough (averaging mid 50s) and low enough for now.

I was using a ultrasonic humidifier in my tent - worked great except the white powder it produced (from our hard water) clogged up my carbon filter. I switched to a evaporative humidifier that has a built in humidistat.
