Ladies and gentlemen I'm been reading everyone's statement on the NUG of the month pictures and enhancing them... to me it's aggravating to read people argue over a rule, some of the best pictures in the world have been taken off of iPhones and disposable cameras... saying this it isn't always the camera or the software that make a good picture. It's the operator, combined with lighting and angels. You can have a $2,000 dollar camera and take $0.01 pic. Knowing your camera's functions and your lighting is photography Taking a picture and adding any editing such as contrasts and saturations from Photoshop or adobe or any other editor takes away from the pictures worth and the camera.... Sorry for the rate and rave just hopped on here and seen all the aggravation and felt the need to make a statement.

great entries everyone,

well done to 420 for stopping the editing, ive never entered these contests but i have designed t-shirts and odds and ends using editing software and i was pretty shocked at what you can do, with not much effort i was able to produce different coloured buds, it was pretty amazing to be honest, im certainly no graphic design expert and cant draw anything more than a stick man, but manipulating photos is to easy and you can turn the ugliets of buds into the most amazing coloured buds, so well dont 420 for putting a stop to this,

a bud should be posted as it looks in real life, it makes it more fair for everyone.
