Man, I just had to sign up for this site after hearing someone had entered my goo into a contest...

BayAreaStoner, :thankyou: and you're :welcome:

I'm always so glad when my babies are appreciated, thank you for the kind words. When I have more in Nov., I'll have our friend "J" throw in some of my cookies or butterscotch squares for ya.

And to any growers interested, while this Afghan Goo has a fairly standard indica leaning high, it has the highest trichome production of anything I've grown. As in, a 17% return of full melt cleardome bubble hash on the trim, it actually becomes liquid with the lighter still 1'' away, like friggin Honey oil, but it's bubble. When I've winnowed down a perfect pheno for a breeding mother, I think a Cindy99 cross would do wonders to lift the high a bit. As is, the Afghan#1 parent is a bit dominant.

Oh yeah, I voted for Yung Stikky's Blue Goo. Absolutely beautiful.

I don't mean to be a sour puss but come on, out of all those beautiful buds this one surely should not win by a landslide. Is there something I am not seeing. I mean its nice and all and no disrespect to Yung Stikky but there are so many beautiful buds up there. Get involved out there lets bring this back to a best bud contest not whatever its turning in to.

"Behind everyone successful, stands a pack of haters."..but i think i am receiving votes based on the Blue Goo picture, I dont think people realize the OUTDOOR TRAINWRECK got stuck as my submission...

Its not about the hate Yung Stikky and I surely do not want to offend anyone. But if people are putting the Trainwreck at the top of all those beautiful buds I guess then I am surly missing something. The blue Goo is a very nice bud I did not know you could enter two different entries. But any ways. Im just saying get out and vote. And may the best nug win.

P.S. I'm not saying this is the best nug of the bunch but put side by side with your two entries, not sure a landslide is in order. Maybe you should win but it should be at the very least a close one.

Only one entry; we accepted the first one you posted

I wanted to weigh in on this issue.

One member one vote = anyone can vote for any nug for any reason be they buds or buddies ;)

In this case I think Yung nailed the issue that a lot of his votes came from his friends on the boards. Personally, I don't think the votes are because of the blue goo sidebar discussion.

We do encourage respectful debate and there's nothing wrong with members expressing their opinions. 420 Magazine appreciates the cordial tone and interaction of our mature members; it's what helps keep us the best 420 site on the net

Yung, wanted to wait a few hours for confirmation that you really want to withdraw from this contest.

Twaz not an eazy task picking out of all those lovely nuggs..... but i must say that well matured orange beast looks 'KOODA' Mr smith.............. you got my vote......

I do understand the rules and what happens when you have a contest in a forum like this. I really do not want Yung to drop out and that was never my intention. I just wish you would change the name of the contest to the "Bud or Buddies of the Month contest" so at least people would know what they are signing up for.

Anyway sorry to sound so bitter and I truly hope Yung stays and does not drop out of the Buds or Buddies of the Month Contest.

On a side note I would like to withdraw my name from all three contest. So hopefully the people that did give me my votes will vote for a more deserving grower than I. Thanks Soniq420 I know your job is not an easy one with these contest and you def. do not need the drama.

Thanks for the great discussion via PM sonzor, I appreciate it.

Anyone that voted for sonzor will automatically be allocated a new vote by our software.
